I love the Twisted Tales! I will say that this one is definitely my favorite out of them all! It at a great and fun story to it and kept me interested since page 1! Will definitely recommend this book to everyone!

Snow White has never been a favorite princess but I have to read all the Twisted Tales so this joined the list. At first I was disappointed but the story behind the mirror was so perfect and gave so much more depth to a fairly flat world.

I have the entire " twisted tales" series and of course purchased this one to continue the collection. Snow white is one of my favorite story tales so i was excited to see what the author did with this story. On the surface the Snow white fairy tale is generally pretty weak, a pretty girl being cast out by her evil step mother and finds love. So i like to see how different authors tell the story from a different perspective. Comparing this book to the others I can say they all pretty much follow the same "flow" either the twist is in the beginning or at the end of the story. This twist didn't really add or take away from this story at all. What if the evil queen poisoned the prince? okay intriguing, but the twist like some of the others, is not until the very end. Instead most of the focus is on character development and seeing how the evil queen becomes corrupt. I did appreciate the backstory of the evil queen, but I felt that snow white was almost a side character in her own story. I enjoyed the read i thought it was well written and interesting enough to want to keep reading. But i would have liked to see more of snow white and possibly have the prince poisoned maybe earlier on in the story. But the author did a good job none the less. Like the rest of the series you can tell it is meant for a Young Adult reader, but can be enjoyed by anyone of any age. There is not any "adult" content in the box so for parents wondering how adult the book is I cant even recall the prince and snow white ever even kissing. Perhaps at the very end but honestly there is just a lot of flirtation and general awkwardness between them. Overall i would say if you are open to different interpretations of fairy tales or just want something new to read give it a shot. But keep in mind the target market is Young adults and not really mature readers.

Excellent read individual book or series.

I purchased this the same time I purchased the book right before it. It arrived in a box with the book before it so I got both at the same time like I expected. I'm still reading this one at the moment, so I'm enjoying it so far.

I really enjoyed the journey the book takes you on. It was nice to see Snow White as a stronger female with thoughts of her own.

This Twisted Tale asks a bold question: what happens if the Evil Queen succeeds in poisoning the Prince instead of—well, Snow White? From there, everything we thought we knew gets flipped upside down—and it’s a ride worth taking. The story alternates between Snow White’s POV and Queen Ingrid’s, giving much more emotional complexity than the original tale. We get flashbacks to Ingrid’s early life and see how her ambition twisted her sisterly love into betrayal. Snow, meanwhile, becomes a force to reckon with—determined and empowered, no longer a passive princess waiting for rescue. The pacing has a few uneven sections—some moments feel rushed, especially toward the end—but the characters feel real. Snow controls her fate, Prince Henrich grows into a likable ally, and Ingrid’s descent is compelling even when it’s chilling. And the Mirror? It’s more than decoration—it’s a character that’s creepy, sentient, and utterly fascinating.

Absolutely amazing! Love how things are explained and makes you fall in love with the movies all over again knowing the true story

I'm an OG Disney fan.. and these books have been so much fun to read. Seeing a different side to characters I've known my whole life, is making me feel like a little girl again. Curled up in front of the TV with my snacks and excitement waiting for mom to press 'play' on the VCR. :)
