Avana Mattress Elevator with Polycotton Covers - Under Bed 7-Inch Incline Foam Lift, Multiple Colors, King Size

My dr. has been telling me to raise my bed 7 inches for a long time. Couldn't find a way to do that. Then I saw this and purchased it. It has reduced my reflux symptoms significantly.

First and foremost, I cannot imagine trying to put a cover on this product. Buy it with cover. Pros: comfort; elevation: lack of odor; generally stays in place; two parts (king size) work together fine. It is worth the money because it relieved GERD symptoms and improved my life. Cons: Unless it's under the mattress there is some slippage; it takes a few nights to become accustomed to the height. You may have to change pillows. You can't really use it on only one side of the bed. If you have a Queen or King you can't get a twin size and put it on one side only. It would ruin your mattress. I am petite so getting into this high bed is a challenge because I have a thick mattress and just added 7 inches to height. It's worth the expense.

Since I started using the Avana Mattress Elevator, I have not experienced any GERD symptoms while sleeping. I have also noticed (based on my FitBit) that I spend more time in Deep and REM sleep during the night. Granted, there is some mild sliding toward the foot of the bed over the course of the night, but only a few inches...maybe 5 inches total. I really don’t notice it much and it is certainly not enough to counter the benefits I feel I get from the Avana. I am planning on getting another for our guest bedroom. I bought the version with a cover and love it. I never noticed any smell at all. It was easy for my husband and me to lift each side of our king mattress and slip the Avana into place. Overall pleased with this product!!

Very fine quality, although the protective covers seemed a bit small. (I washed them per instructions prior to use, so maybe they shrank - it was a struggle getting them over the foam wedges.) I have used these mattress elevators for many months now, and they definitely help with reflux. I have an adjustable foam mattress, and I am still able to adjust my bed with the foam elevators in place.

We like the product very much. We purchase 7 inches model that works very fine for us.
