Much stronger than my old one

It works exactly as it should. Now I have a dedicated proper and adjustable length, short pole for the expressed purpose of just removing my heavy pool vacuum instead of reaching my arm (up to the shoulder) into the pool to retrieve the pool vacuum robot. . It's just one more tool in the pool maintenance arsenal.

This is a budget priced pole that is very sturdy. I purchased this pole because I had previously bought a brush head that ended up not fitting on my existing telescoping pole I already had for my poll skimmer net. This pole is much thicker and sturdier than the other pole and I like how long it is. The brush head only fits as far as the first set of holes, I wish it would go in a little deeper but that's the fault of the brush head, not the pole. The only drawback to the pole is that once the white connector has been tightened it won't loosen again to collapse the rod, it's fixed, not retractable. But for the price I paid it will do. I do wish that manufacturers wouldn't put paper warning labels on things that are meant to go into water. I will have to try and get those stickers off before using it in the pool because I don't want bits and pieces of paper floating in my pool. Vinyl stickers would have been a better option, then they could be left on the pole.

I bought the 7 foot expandable to 21 foot pole to use in the spring to remove leaves from our 30 foot round above ground pool cover. The pole reaches beyond the center of the cover and makes it easy to remove the leaves.

Extra versatile pole. Shorter than most when collapsed, but the 3 sections give it more reach than traditional 2 section poles.
