I have had SO many cables and chargers either not allow fast charging, or the seem to lose the ability to fast charge. It is such a hassle. So far so good on this one though. I don't need this cable to convey any data. I purely use it for charging. As long as it is speedie at that task, I'm pretty happy. This cable feels pretty well built. The connectors are well sized to fit snugly, but not tight enough to cause damage. I have had a few like that in the past. In addition to the socket itself, the housing is a nice size also. One of my mice has a rather narrow opening to plug it in for charging. This cable fits easily. One thing I need to do to make it easiest is to be sure to use the end with the longer housing as it is easier to grip. This cable is much better than many of the other options on the market. Well, it is certainly better than most of the cables I have around the house. I typically lean towards braided cables. Perhaps I should be focusing more on their performance than their appearance.

A portable monitors best friend. If you need a low profile 90* this is the best there is. Connection snaps into place securely and fairly easy to remove. The super low profile induces significantly less stress on usbc port compared to other cables.

This cable can transfer data at high speed, and also provide fast charging. ‘Charging Only’ USB -C cables are designed specifically for power delivery and may not support data transfer. Some safe charging cables (not this one) have MFi (Apple) or USB-IF certifications. Data and Charging cables like this one, on the other hand, support both data transfer and power delivery.. It can be confusing knowing which kind of cable you have if it has USB-C connectors on both ends. Generally data cables are thinner and more flexible as they do not require the same level of power handling as charging cables. However, you may have to actually verify whether the cable you have can charge a device or whether it can transfer data or whether it can do both.

It’s difficult to review charging cables and talk about anything other than whether it actually charges the phone and does it in a decent amount of time. However the time to charge is a lot more based on the charging cube than the cable itself. What I gauge cables on is how thick the insulation is which is gonna help protect the cable and make it last a longer time, and how beefy the connectors are where it plugs in. Both of these things on this cord are actually thicker and beefier than the cord that comes with the iPhone from Apple so in a comparison, I think this will probably take a little more of a beating than the OEM cordwill. For the cost seems like a fair price and the 3 foot length is perfect for if you’re just using your phone at your desk or maybe in your car, so it’s still within reach but not so long it gets tangled up.

The cables allow fast charging and high-speed data transfer (not that most need this), but if you do, these are the cables for you. The fast-charging capability is what most need/want, and you don't get it with older cables; new cables designed for fast-charging are necessary.
