Shockingly surprised! I was worried at first since the screen obviously wasn’t made for my car’s current system, and I had concerns about connectivity and how it would look. But honestly, it’s 100% worth the money. I have a 2017 car with a 360° camera, and research online said that I couldn’t add CarPlay without disabling my cameras or paying for an expensive fix. I’d basically accepted that I’d have to live without CarPlay or a modern screen. I love everything about my car except that missing feature, which forced me to use my phone more than I’d like-especially for maps and messaging. After driving several rental cars with CarPlay, I was completely looked and finally went back to researching options to add it. I was surprised to learn that portable screens like this even existed, as it did not seem they were an option a few years ago when I originally looked. When Black Friday rolled around, I decided to go for it. I looked at a few 7" options, which would’ve worked, but they felt too small for my midsize car. This screen ended up being the perfect size. Setup took about 15 minutes, mostly deciding on placement, and it connected to my phone within minutes. It now connects automatically within seconds of starting my car. The toughest part was figuring out how to mount it, but I found the perfect spot where it doesn’t move, doesn’t block my vents, and actually looks like a built-in popup display. I even managed to hide most of the cord. The audio from the device itself is decent, but I learned I can stay connected to the CarPlay unit while using Bluetooth for my car’s speakers - so everything still runs through my car audio while being controlled through the screen. I tried the AUX cord first, which worked okay, but the Bluetooth setup is much better, and has been smooth. So far, there’s been **zero lag**, and it has been a fantastic upgrade for my car - the lack of CarPlay was my only complaint, and this completely solves it. I’m extremely happy with my purchase, and it really elevates my driving experience. Great price, great size, and great performance.

I bought this smart screen for my car and I really like it. The screen quality is very good and clear, and the touch response is smooth. I love that it has voice control, which is very helpful while driving so you don’t get distracted. The installation was easy and it works great for navigation, music, and calls. The 9-inch size is perfect, not too big and not too small.

I’m really impressed with this CarPlay. It was super easy to set up, and the Bluetooth connection was fast right away. I didn’t have to mess with any AUX cables or anything, just used the speaker that comes with it and it works great. The screen is clear and it mirrors my phone really well, so it feels like I’m using my phone but on a bigger display. The rear camera, makes parking so much easier, especially in tight spots. It also comes with a suction mount for the front window and sticky pads for the dash, so you can choose the best way to install it in your car. For me, it’s a huge upgrade for older cars that don’t have modern systems. Overall, I’m very happy with it. It’s practical, simple to use, and makes driving way more convenient.

This is for sure a great gadget for cars. Very easy to install and connect over the Bluetooth. It comes with different installing options, put it on mirror or dashboard - your choice. The screen touch is so smooth, and navigation is great. I liked the different operating modes it offers. It's really worth it. Recommended !!

The Topexplore 9" CarPlay screen is a solid upgrade for older cars. Setup was quick — plug it in, pair your phone, and it’s ready. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto both work smoothly, and voice control plus hands-free calling make driving much easier. I paired mine with a CD mount, which really helps save space and keeps the dash clean highly recommend doing that. The only downside is the screen color; it’s not as vibrant as a built-in display, but it’s still perfectly usable in daylight. Overall, great value for the features and ease of use.

It's ok, but I call it Car might Play or Car won't Play. It shuts down at random and comes back on again by itself. It might get you lost if you are depending on it for directions. That said, It's ok. I can't figure out the path I take to get to adding the parallel lines for backing up. I will eventually remember how to access the functions. There are sequence of icons to click to get there. It should just turn on automatically for that, since I did click on the "confirm" for this every time button... It doesn't come on unless I find that magical sequence to the panel of settings for that. I will work with it more. - I am wondering if the cig. lighter port in my van might be blinking on and off. I'm going to plug the CarPlay in to a power station to try to eliminate that being the cause of the unpredictable shutting down, next time I drive.... I could probably be reimbursed if I send it back, but what a major p.i. t.a. that would be. So I'll post about it again when I know more about what's going on with it. It does connect nicely to the Serious xm, but so does my cell phone, which is dependable. ..... UPDATE*. After a few weeks it stopped intermittently turning off as much. It rarely. does it now. I really needed the back up camera part of this. My van has no back window, just side mirrors. What a huge help it is.
