These come in very handy a few times a year. I have an irrigation system that I have to mark a couple times a year for different reasons and have used these over and over already. It was a great investment!

We have a large fenced-in yard and have these on the chain-link fence. When needed, we grab 'em to mark the spots (well, at least 12" away) where the dogs leave "landmines" :-), which we see when we're out with the pups. Once every day or two we go around the yard, clean up everything and put the flags back on the fence (woven between a couple of links). The flags are outside year-in and year-out, in all kinds of New England weather. Unfortunately, the flag rods (made of some cheap metal) start getting rusty after a month. And the plastic flags start to deteriorate in the cold/heat/sun/wind, faster than some other brands.

Needed them to mark areas in the yard, They are exactly what I needed.
