Obsessed with the color!
I definitely did not read the reviews beforehand and wish I did. I love the wrap and the color 🤌🏼 omg especially in the sun 😍.. But it's most certainly not for beginners and this was my first time wrapping. There's not much stretch to it like there is with others and if you mess with it too much it loses adhesion.. But I'm stoked with the final product and have been getting non-stop compliments. This color is badass!

So easy a caveman can do it.
First time using vinyl. This was very easy to use and made of quality material. Time will tell if I installed it correctly. I ordered satin black. It looks phenomenal. It installed and fit very well. All of the scratches wiped right off when I was done.

Great quality, but not for beginners.
Beautiful dark gold copper color, and super thick. It stretches easily, but with heat will shrink back to it's usual size or smaller. This was my first time using it, and I was trying to wrap a motorcycle helmet. I'm really good at DIY stuff, but I have a new respect for people who do wraps. It's really hard. The adhesion on this wrap is really good, as is its heat resistance, but removing bubbles was super difficult. And if you tried to make a tiny pin prick to remove a bubble, the adhesive on the back side would close the hole before the air could escape. This seems like a really good wrap, but definitely not for beginners.

Good product but requires patience and practice. It does last and looks good.
This is the hardest vinyl to work with of the ones I have used from them in the past. It's 7.5mil thick. This dry apply PPF is not something I would want to do large sections of cars unless it was super flat. Compound curves are difficult enough with any wrap but this is even more so. I also tried using 3M knifeless tape and cutting through this was messy. It's too thick for the fine wire in the tape and it kept breaking when I used it. I like it but prefer their other vinyls that arean't as thick. They're easier to work with and cut and form even if they don't last as long. Also keep in mind you might want to use edge sealer. The corners are lifting too easily after application. I tried with and without a heat gun and it works better installing with a heat gun. Also make sure to prep the surface really well with some isopropryl alcohol. This version of their vinyl costs about $20 for 1x5ft. The ones I typically use are under $15 for same. Thinner, easier to work with and the backing comes with a nice grid for measurements. This thicker vinyl doesn't. As far as the look goes this Demon Red looks awesome! I used it to make custom stripes on my 08 Vette. It goes nicely with the Machine Silver paint. It doesn't look that bright until it gets in direct sunlight. Then it really shines. This isn't my first rodeo with their products. I've used several and done several vehicles and some misc stuff. Body panels, grill and spoiler pieces, wheels, some interior pieces. Start with the thinner stuff and learn how to apply and work it. It's not the right stuff for your first adventure. I've wasted 1 roll and will redo the stripes on my Vette because the first attempt was a learning exercise with the thick stuff. Watch lots of videos, buy the thinner stuff, do some test applications of simple block stripes on easy surfaces, learn some technique that works for you. Then do a real install so you don't waste money. Remember the videos they show are people with 5, 10, or more years experience. That said this stuff is fun to use and make changes to your car that you can peel off anytime you get bored with it and do something else. I would pick this over plastdip spray on vinyl for most surfaces but some pieces would be easier and make better results with spray vinyl. VViViD is a good product and I'll continue to use it.

I tried to make it work
I tried so hard to make this wrap work. I wasted so much material. The color is amazing, but i wouldn’t use it for anything but a flat surface. It doesn’t stick and costs way too much for the way the wrap acts. It doesn’t like to stretch and don’t even try to put heat on it because just a little will cook the tiny amount of adhesive and it’ll return back to where you just squeegeed out. I have a different color for my jeep, maybe it’ll work better for that.. I’ll update if it sucks on that too.

It's beautiful. Perfect for my pickguard.
I used it to cover my pickguard on my old Epiphone Batwing bass. I never wrapped anything before, so I had no idea what I was doing. I had to Google if I needed to heat it before applying. I used my hairdryer. The trick is to use your finger to press out the bubbles as you apply it inch by inch, not all at once. It wad easy to trim the edges. It came out really nice in the end. I love the color and texture. It's very smooth and glossy.

Way darker than you think
A heat gun of some kind is a must!, when hot it melts and stretch like butter, very easy to remove bubbles (mind it's my first time doing any kind of wrap), a good heat after you apply it and it stays put, it has been on the underside of my mudguard and about 2 inches from my bike exhaust

Inaccurate color received damage
. It's unfortunate that there wasn't quality control used prevent damage and to verify the color was accurate with the pictures on the listing

Colour looks great and applys well

Absolutely the best! Easy to work with, and great stretch without warping the colour. The colour is very true to picture, but shows better in person than in camera, using a vivid filter makes it closer to real life colour.

This is a very good product, heavy weight. However, it did not work for my application to cover a small, odd shaped and intricate plastic item. Even with cleaning the plastic surface with alcohol and heating the film to activate the adhesive, I could not obtain a sufficient bond. I am sure that on a relatively flat metal surface, it would work great.

2 reviews since Amazon won't let me split per item: Gloss Metallic Blue Chameleon Very good material to practice with. I'm new to wrapping and this is very cool. The only thing that's amiss is there's no " removable protective cap" as the box says. No real problem to me but for others it might be. Wrapped a metal bottle and headphones. Gloss Flip Thunder Green: Came refurbished and missing 0.5ft of material. Came in plastic seal wrap instead of the box and item damaged upon arrival. Didn't help that Amazon threw my package at my door. Returning.
