How do i read the time?

The the watch dial turns clockwise (in two pieces - hours and minutes) under an unmoving red "speedometer" "hand" . So the hour is to the right of the hand on the inner ring, and the minutes are under the hand on the outer ring. If I knew how to send an image here, I could send you an example. 20..|..15 .9...|.8.. If the above makes sense (imagine the central lines are the red "hand") it would read 8:18.

How the case back of the Stauer looks alike?

If the watch ii have says the wirst fit is 7-8 1/2 what size band i need 20mm or more

You will want to buy a 22 mm band. That is the width that fits the watch case. Length of band would be standard but depending on wrist width you may want to buy a 22 mm band that is extra long if needed. Standard length/size 22 mm band will fit most people though.

Gorgeous watch, Art Deco-like design

Beautiful looking watch. Has Art deco looks and design which was major in my selection. It is a conversation starter for sure. Only downside is that the red-on-white numbers (i.e. the minutes) are a bit hard to read for older eyes (without glasses!).
