Mountain Warehouse Featherweight Mens Down Jacket - Raincoat

This packable lightweight jacket is just what I was looking for. I got this as a layer, for an upcoming trip up north and it has become my go to jacket with the hot during the day cold at night weather we have been having this Christmas.I shove this into it's stuff sack and drop it into my everyday bag. When the weather changes, it's there for my use.Size wise it's perfect, the length covers my rear, and the elastic hem keeps cold air from my spine.

Really light and compact, I travel a lot so can put in a small bag and pack if not needed. Very compact and warm

This is indeed very lightweight and packs down to the size of a softball. Size is good around the torso and arms. The cut is quite a bit below the waist and there's plenty of length in the arms which is what I wanted. The insulation is pretty skimpy, but that is probably what makes it so lightweight and packable. I have another less expensive lightweight down jacket that has more fill than this one, so I was a bit disappointed with the fill, but I still think it will work for what i need. I got this for cool morning hikes; to be able to pack it away when traveling; or to go under another coat. so I'm pretty pleased with it so far. 4 stars because the fill was a little less than expected.

I bought this jacket as a packable lightweight jacket for my husband who was complaining about his heavy jacket, and he admired my packable jacket. So, after researching SEVERAL models (including Amazon Essentials), I ordered a few of them to try on. (FYI my husband is about 5'11" and 190 and fit, a true large)This was his favorite for two reasons: more room in the cut for a sweater, and more length both in the sleeves and the torso) BUT, be aware! For some reason, the zipper is positioned as a WOMEN's zipper. That took some consideration. But in the end, he chose that one, and it's worked well for him.

I ordered. 3X large because I wanted it to fit loose, but it fit more like a 1X or XL.Way to small to be a 3X large, I normally wear a 2X with ZERO issue, I don't know if it was miss-tagged or what the issue was except it was no where close to being an actual 3X.

Went to Ski Cooper this weekend, it was warm and sunny and snow was just perfect — as was this jacket. Highly recommend, if u like slim, sporty fit.

Ok so this jacket is definitely featherweight. I'm a 5'8 170 lb male with 39 in chest. I ordered a Med and this medium barely fits. The arm and body lengths are fine but It is a tight fit in the arms and body with only a t-shirt under it. Always a gamble for me a medium or a large and the large fit often is too long in the arm and body length but ok in the shoulder. It could be good under a breathable weatherproof shell and is more a base layer jacket rather than a top layer. Another unusual thing is the Zipper is on the left side and not the right as on all men's jackets.
