I was wondering if you meant regular Corn Syrup because of the additional sugar possibly or if you may have been thinking of HFCS. High Fructose Corn Syrup is very unhealthy and it has been switched out for regular Corn Syrup in all sorts of foods not just Coke and other soft drinks. Big into black licorice. This one is good. I find these twists about the right size. They are chewy without being too hard or mushy. Taste is pleasently light to medium. Bought extras already and plan to get more.

Great taste and seems fresh. However if you are diabetic limit the quantity that you consume - say two or three pieces per day. Excellent quality.
