I thought there was no way for me to get rid of blue. Even though I wanted to transition to simple highlights and was waiting for my hair to grow out, there was a desire to try something new because I was still going to cut it off. It was easy to use this dye as I didn’t have to mix anything, just open the jar and apply. Color is pretty, I’ll apply it again in a week though to make it brighter and fill in the bluish blanks. So if you have blue hair and seeing yellow greenish shades as color washes out, it’s a good option. Affordable, quick(left the dye only for 25 mins on my hair), nice results and a big room for experiments ;) photos attached.

I love that it colors my grey's and only subtly colors the rest. I'm a professional in my 40's and this is fun and subtle enough to use, even for work! Loved it so much that after this order, I ordered the purple for brown hair and just last week, ordered 6 of the 2oz samples of various colors... Excited to see how it goes! Do like that it's temporary BUT wish it were LESS temporary!! My 50-something friend even uses it now, after seeing and loving my results!

TLDR: expensive and didn’t dye a single hair purple For $32, this was a total waste of money. I have brown hair with some gray and was hoping for a mild purple tint. I do have some coloring in my hair and know you can’t dye dyed hair without lifting first, but I didn’t find anything about this on the website or reviews and had hoped it would at least due the areas that aren’t highlighted. The product was easy to use and smelled like tea tree oil, which wasn’t unpleasant. It’s hard to get all the hair, because it immediately starts to make the hair sticky (think hair gel and Alfalfa). I did the whole head, used half a bottle, and left it in for at least 20 min (40 in some places). After rinsing with water and drying my hair, literally no part was even a smidge purple, including undyed portions or gray hairs. Waste of money

I have thick coarse hair with a wavy to curly texture. I always have it dyed platinum blonde and then have it toned so it’s ashy. My natural hair is a dark blonde or very light brown. I got this dark purple overtone to use. It smells amazing. I put it on the lower half of my hair. We are doing it in honor of my 6 year old niece who’s been sent home to pass away from her cancer. It’s her favorite color. it wasn’t permanent in my hair which is what I wanted. It doesn’t show up in my natural hair but it does show up in my bleached hair. It is not as dark as it says it is supposed to be. I used it per instructions and let it set for an hour while I cleaned around the house. I’ve washed it twice since then. The color that does stick, stays which is what I love about it. And it smells phenomenal. It’s definitely worth it if you want something that isn’t permanent but that doesn’t rub off on other surfaces like that popular hair wax that washes the color out after one use.

I wish it were more vibrant but it did take the color. I ended up leaving it on for 20 minutes but that section of my hair is super soft! Since the shed has “vibrant” in it I had high hopes for super bright purple but still giving it 5 stars because it says it may not work for grays.
