The love between Tarzan and Jane has never been anywhere close to the chemistry of Weismuller and O’Sullivan. And when Boy is added, the love of family is exceptionally portrayed. In the ‘30’s, Weismuller had a fantastic primeval physique that truly fit Tarzan. He certainly looks like he could rule the jungle! Maureen O’Sullivan compliments him perfectly and is a true and equal partner to the Lord of the Jungle. At first, I was put off by Johnny Sheffield as he was just TOO precocious, but… by the end of Tarzan Finds a Son he’s completely won me over. And I haven’t even gotten into the action sequences. The fight with the crocodile is off the charts. The thing in the pit-Holy cow! Hand to fang combat with two lions in a row! And just the fantastic escarpment scenes. In short, these are the best Tarzans ever and what a price too. Highly recommended. Estupendas peliculas de Tarzán, me recuerdan mi infancia cuando las veia en las matinee de los dias domingo, maravillosas peliculas de aventuras, siempre en programa triple "TARZAN, EL HOMBRE MONO", TARZAN Y SU COMPAÑERA", para mi, esta es la mejor pelicula, y "LA FUGA DE TARZAN", y desde luego interpretadas por el mejor Tarzán del cine: Johnny Weissmuller y Jane, interpretado por Maureen O'Sullivan. Peliculas de aventuras muy recomendables. Las cuatro peliculas tienen subtitulos en español.
