ミドルスクールに通う演劇の大好きな女の子Callieのが主人公のグラフィックノベル（漫画）です。 Callieは演劇が大好きだけど、歌が苦手なので裏方として舞台デザインを担当しています。 学校で”Moon over Mississippi”というミュージカルをする事に決まり、Callieの周りで起きる出来事を描いた作品です。 演劇、友情、恋愛などがテーマですが、少し大人な内容な部分があるので中学生以上のお子さんにおすすめです。 漫画なのでわからない単語があっても想像で意味は分かるし、全編カラーなので読みやすいです。

I love how good this book is and for me as a reader I ONE HUNDRED PERCENT RECOMMEND.Hope whoever reads this enjoys it.

My son loved this book, he reads a lot of books from this author in school so I had to purchase this one and ghost for him myself. I don’t understand why people are so bothered by this book, saying their children are exposed to sexual topics like transgender people; I suggest learning the difference between sex, gender, sexual orientation, and how this book is no different than your child being exposed to people sharing a kiss. It’s ridiculous and guess what, it’s 2021. Our children are growing up in a beautifully progressive time where inclusion is important, not segregation. I hope you learn how to be better parents through your children, I’d hate to think what would happen if I reacted like some of you when your child reads this book and sees your reaction, only to find out later on in life they themselves are transgender. Anyways, I can’t control other people, but I can control myself and what my son is taught at home, I really love that he takes an interest in learning about what’s important to others.
