I bought this for my son’s bedroom to store books, and after comparing several similar bookshelves, I’m really glad I chose this one. It fits perfectly behind the door and looks even better than I expected. Great quality for the price, and it matches perfectly with the other white furniture in the room. The only change we made was painting the brown wood shelf holder white to match the rest of the unit. The only downside was the long wait, almost two months for delivery.

I was pleasantly surprised by this shelf. It is perfect for what I needed it for with a couple of small modifications. First off, I did add three small bumper pads onto the front so that it didn't bang against my wood doors. Second, rather than using the provided nail contraption that was part of the mounting, I just used a second set of brackets near the bottom. But overall, this was very easy to put together and is a great way to maximize storage by using a space that is often overlooked. It was a good value at right around $90. It is very low profile and looks pretty good. I do wish that it had some way of covering up the screws as they are a little unsightly. It fits perfectly behind my door, but certainly you would want to measure if your doors are not standard in some way. The shelf configuration even respects the location of the door knob. One review mentioned a weird bracket that joins two parts. Mine did not have that as you can see in the photos. So perhaps they have changed this? The shipping speed was pretty slow, so if you need this quickly this might not be the one to get. It took about a month for mine to arrive.

This was a gift for a baby’s room. It fits perfectly and hold a lot of children’s books. Quality is nice for the money.

Honestly, I’m frustrated as this could be a 5/5 review. I’ve now purchased 2 of these shelves. The first was so easy to put together and looked great. The directions and parts that were meant to attach it to the wall? Horrible. Despite that, I purchased a second, as I really wanted the storage and figured I could muddle through again, only to find a WORSE set up (far more flimsy and even worse mounting equipment). Hate that this was an issue, as I would’ve purchased again should thing had stayed the same or improved. This shouldn’t be a challenging product.

I bought 2 of these for my small motorhome. I put one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen secured to the walls. My kitchen is at the back so it worked out well and they are shallow enough to be very useful while not getting in the way. They've added a nice amount of storage.

Quality is nothing like the photos for the item or even the review photos. All the shelves are exactly the same size, and they aren’t very big. Tall books can only go on the very top shelf. The baseboard cutout on the bottom is too short. The castors and bolts hardware is so flimsy that they won’t even tighten enough to stay together. The whole thing is incredibly flimsy. Even the edging looks like it’ll fall off soon. I’m not returning it because I do not want the trouble of taking it apart and packing it up to then argue with the seller about my refund. So we’ve decided it to make our own modifications to make it work.

This shelf great... Uses space where nothing else fits! Easy to install.

This is the 31.5x3.9x70.2 size shelf. Overall a nice shelf, the only thing the product could improve on based on other furniture builds I've done are a better set of instructions and having the tool needed for build. Most other furniture builds have a small hex key or phillips included so you can build it even without tools, so a heads up to those who may not have them. Also other furniture builds come with colored stickers to match the furniture and cover the screws to make it a bit more aesthetically pleasing. The metal piece to join the top and bottom also is an eyesore. If you've done enough furniture builds then the build itself is pretty self explanatory, but I've seen better instruction sets than the one included. For the shelf itself it's as expected as far as it fitting nicely behind the door and not compromising the ability to open the door completely. It does have a lip on the shelves which was hard to tell in photos if it did or not, granted the lip isn't a singular flush piece. Another thing that's a bit of an eyesore. I would purchase again as it suits the need I had for being able to put my daughters books up without having to take up space that can used for other things. It's nice to utilize otherwise wasted space.
