YES. If you adore history, humanity and gorgeous writing. YES.
WELL, I often worry that my passionate fascination with WWII is unhealthy (after all, what is there to like about such tragedy) BUT, now, due to this delightful read - I am reminded why I love it so. The charming use of words and visuals they evoke, the human connection to a horrifying time in history, just every spectacular detail of this read... makes WWII the opposite of a nightmare. Against ALL odds - us people (enchanting stubborn women in particular) make good overcome evil. What a beautiful story of humanity - the good, the bad... and the LOVELY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!
