Buying high quality secateurs for the garden is like having a good chef's knife in the kitchen. If you have big hands, these are going to suit you. I have massive hands and I can use these easily. Smaller hands I think you're going to struggle. These are super sharp and cut through branches like a hot knife through butter. I have always used cheap secateurs and I wished I had bought a high end pair sooner.

I am so happy that I read the reviews from seasoned gardeners/landscapers and opted for the Felco 2 instead of a cheaper brand on black Friday. It is so important to purchase products that deliver value. For me, value goes beyond the price tag. I look forward to enjoying many years of use with my Felco pruning shears.

The best pruning snips one can find. They fit great in one's hands. They have a smooth operation and retain their sharpness for years to come. They can easily cut through branches less than 1/2", but with some elbow grease and effort, can tackle those larger branches. They have the blade lock to keep it closed for safety, which unlike other cheaper brands, stays in place such that you don't have it locking closed when you're out there working. The grips do not slide or shift on the handles, which is very nice since I've found other hand pruners often just have a sleeve or something like that to provide grip, whereas these have the grip firmly attached to the metal. Cannot go wrong with these pruners. Have purchased multiple pairs such that myself and others do not need to share!
