I bought this bad boi & a couple of EDCs from Tomtoc. Now to be fair Tomtoc are absolutely killing it at the moment. Quality to price is amazing. I love their stuff. But when you stack them (a vintage and a 77) against this it's just a different league. This bag is supremely comfortable, holds just enough (EDC) to stop me carrying crap for the sake of it and feels solid and well made Sure it has it's shortcomings, but that's true of every bag. This cost about the same as the 2 Tomtocs, is it worth double, not necessarily. If it's comfort 1st 2nd and third then this is your bag. If you just want a decent EDC and you're willing to live with the shoulder ache, then either the vintage (yellow of course) or the 77 are both solid choices

Fantastic well made small daily backpack. The quality is really good and feels like it will last for years. Very comfortable to wear all day as well.

I generally like Alpaka gear, I have a couple of their slings and it's generally well put together. There are a few issues with this bag. 1. It's not 24l - at least not compared to other 24l bags that I own, it's probably 20-22l max.; 2. It's heavy - the material is tough, but it comes at a cost; and 3. No false bottom for laptop protection - just a poor oversight. Other light annoyances are the zip snagging on the top lip and the luggage pass through is in the wrong orientation. There are better options out there. Try the Patagonia MLC Micro for something similar.

This backpack sooo many design flaws. - No false bottom on laptop compartment. - Extremely light harnesses made for 12L version of the backpack and the worst comfort as a result - Shape is not holding well although 600D should be strong enough to keep the shape. - Flap is getting stuck to the main compartment zipper which is extremely low quality and looks like zipper of a 10£ backpack. - The stitching and the cuts look asymmetric and weird. See the picture - Luggage pass through is tooo loose and looks weird

It's beautifully made and seems very functional. Alas since I'm 1.8mtr tall and an actual grown up I've had to return it It's big enough for a kids backpack but nothing more I've ordered the large size (my mistake to be fair). Report on that to follow shortly

This bag fits my Samsung Book5 Pro 14" and Galaxy Tab 10+ perfectly. Also have plenty of room for the mouse and charger. I will say, the Book5 Pro 14" is about the max for this size bag though. As small as possible with high quality construction was the goal and this bag does the trick. For a few years I have been using an E-bags Slim Pro backpack but since I downsized to a 14" laptop, I wanted a smaller bag as well. I like the minimalist styling to avoid extra attention and it is well built. Downsizing to this bag just makes life on planes and public areas easier. The laptop will not hit the floor if I drop the bag since it is raised from the bottom of the bag so it keeps tech safe. The straps are comfortable enough, with the weight I have in the bag it could have a little extra cushion but by no means a deal breaker. With just the laptop and no tablet, zero comfort issues. With both items, comfortable but eh, could use a little more padding for one shoulder use. The zipper in the main compartment can get stuck on the rain guard flap at times but you eventually get the hang of it and now it rarely happens to me. Ultimately, rather have the rain protection than not. If you are in a high theft area, I would be cautious what you put in the small zipper compartment since pulling downward opens it. Granted, the way the storage is set up in there, nothing should fall out. You can always remove the little pull tab as well if it is a concern. If I could change anything, just a pinch more padding on the straps and I would say adding more colors would help make this product even better than it already is.

It's really compact and can be also seen as small, but it's very functional. With good planning you can make use of the whole space and it actually fits more than you would expect. The materials are of very high quality, the back cover is really comfortable! The green color is actually amazing live. I recommend it for optimising what you carry for your daily commute, great brand!
