I make my own wheat bread in Japan and with this it is economical, healthy and delicious.

Good for all kinds of recipes including pancakes, pie crusts, and bread! This is a high quality product.

Bag was ripped and leaking and put in a plastic bag which was also leaking.

商品の包装袋が変わったのか、粉がこぼれて、粉まみれになっていました。ビニールに入れられて送られてきましたが、食品なので、もう少し気を使って頂きたいです。商品は良いものなのに少し残念でした。

Much more expensive than pre pandemic but all flour is being price gouged! If you can get over the price here is everybody's favorite Bob's Red Mill top cooking magazine recommended Organic Stone Ground Whole Wheat flour actually available so get it! The date code had a year left ( usually WW flour is good for 2 years but once home should be cold stored to prevent it going rancid) Don't buy more than a 6 months supply of whole grains. So it was packed well, not damaged as flour often is and there was no trace of bugs or dirt anywhere. So color me satisfied if a bit poorer. Take up baking as your pandemic hobby, it's satisfying and your family & friends will appreciate it and whole grains taste better and are better for you. Start with10% in your recipes to get accustomed to the bigger flavor and note that going over 50% will affect the density of your baked goods although you can learn to help that somewhat by adjusting your liquids and leaven amounts, check you recipes. If you need a lighter or fluffier dough for cakes or muffins try Bob's Red Mill Organic Whole Wheat Pastry flour, this flour is best in breads etc. Happy baking!

I use it in making an easy beer bread One cup Bobs Red Two cups bread flour One bottle or can of beer You choose. I use an IPA 1/2 a cube of butter Two or three table sugar and a dash of salt One table spoon yeast Mix on high one or two minuets then on low for ? Let raise for 1/2 hour or more I walk off and do other stuff Dump in to bread pan raise again until just at the top of bread pan Bake at 375 for 45 minuets We toast the bread and serve with butter That’s our breakfast with a cup of coffee My wife and me like it a lot Much better then store bought

This is the second bag I've ordered. It appears to be good quality wheat flour. I had a problem with bugs in the wheat flour at the store. This is packaged in plastic, which I think is probably better than the paper sacks most flour companies use. I hope that this will prevent bugs. The price is a lot more than you'll pay for other brands at the grocery store, but so far I find the price is worth it. I don't use wheat flour as much a white flour, which I always put it in a sealed container, so I didn't mind paying the higher price as long as the quality remains good.

I wish it came in a smaller size, but it is a very fresh product.
