Was excited to find this product as an anti-slip solution for our vinyl floors, as our dogs were slipping quite a bit. It took quite a bit of convincing of my partner to go this route as it's a big, permanent, labour intensive change to your floors. The shipping and arrival was good, as expected. There was a lot of prep work as our area we were doing was quite large. The application was okay - as described but really, REALLY smells, and short window to get all the coats down (and you can't just put the lid on and do more the next day - once mixed you have to use ALL that you've mixed). First complaint would be the consistency of the grit...we mixed as per directions and shook/mixed well but still there are some areas of the floor that are quite gritty (you can feel AND see it) with the sand/granules and others that look like there's next to no grit. It's like the grit settled in the paint tray. The gritty sections are REALLY hard to clean...like it's an arm work out and almost need a scrub brush because it's essentially like sand paper. Biggest complaint, within 2-3 weeks the coating started peeling off. We followed the directions to the T, no traffic or furniture whatsoever was put on the floors for over 48 hours, then we actually kept the pets off another 3 days. It started as small little bits peeling, now there are sections bigger than a foot where it's peeled off, and now other areas are starting to peel. Very disappointed as this was a significant enough investment money wise (and FYI for any Canadians - you will get a decent shipping bill a couple weeks later for customs fees! Ours was $90 and we live in Ontario, so add that onto the cost if you're considering this product!), huge commitment time wise, and it is not something that we can just wipe off and the floors now look awful. For now we will leave the floors as is, but if/when we look into renting our basement it will need all new flooring.

A great product! It was super easy to apply, almost no chemical smell, and dried fast.

Amazing when having a dog scared of slippery floors. 2nd purchase. Once the coat starts to fate ( about a year with good traffic) you will notice how great it is because you get quickly reminded on why you had all those runners in the house before this product

Especially for the ridiculous amount of money, this is not at all durable. We put this on a well-sanded laminate floor, and it only took a month of my daughter doing her zoom ballet lessons on it, in ballet shoes mind you, to wear the coating off the floor. The solution is only good for a few hours, and so even though I only used half of it, I had to toss it, but luckily I saved the rest of the jar of grit. To re-treat the floor where this stuff wore off, I put the grit in water-based polyurethane, and that is holding up much better.
