You can use the stovetop, a tub or bucket, or the washing machine. There are instructions in the box for all 3 options.

did the dye bleed after dying?

no, i had no issues of bleeding even after items were washed. They left no residue in my washing machine either!

Does the back to black cover up bleach spots?
