Amazing dock with 5 display support
I am using this on a MacBook Pro and a Chromebook switching between as necessary. It has been working excellent to give me 5 extra external monitors. Flawlessly drives the displays, easy to setup and use. It even came with USBC to HDMI cables. It does get warm so I would suggest keeping it somewhere with good ventilation.

Great product so far. Will update if that changes.
Works well so far. Runs very hot!!! Hot enough to have me concerned. I am currently driving five 1080p @ 60Hz off of it, which made me happy. for some reason the HDMI displays didn't work until i first unplugged them. That was either a thunderbolt to HDMI or an HDMI to HDMI. The TB to display port worked as soon as I loaded the software/drivers. I'm running this on Windows 11 Pro.

Dense piece of tech
Bought this for work, It works like it is supposed to as long as it doesn't over heat. I am disappointed that the only USB 3.0 options are inthe front of the device.

Does the job with minor heating issue
Needed a docking station that was portable and this does the trick. No issues except it heats up but that's normal when small devices supply a lot of power. Maybe a cooling mechanism is needed for future improvements.

Works well but heats up like a hot plate
Works exactly as described. The only issue I have is the heat generated can cook an egg. It gets too hot to touch and I have to run a cooling fan on it when it is operating. I purchased a USB fan and plugged it into its USB powered port so it comes in automatically when I power on the doc.

Crap drivers, disconnects regularly, not ready for release
I have an M1 MAX MacBook Pro from 2021. I had high hopes for this dock, but unfortunately, a nice piece of hardware is let down by poor drivers and a clunky DisplayLink Manager application. Problems (on macOS Sequoia 15.4.1): - The dock disconnects about every 20 minutes or so, and my BenQ displays go black. This requires unplugging the dock and replugging one of my displays directly into my Mac (bypassing the dock) to get things working again. If you had a headless unit e.g., a Mac Mini with no screen attached, you'd have to reboot. - Even with the optional "login extension" installed, with FileVault enabled, you can't boot up and have the displays work. A warning appears on my screens telling me to install the DisplayLink software, which I have already installed. - You have to install a driver. OK fine. You have to install DisplayLink Manager and leave it running all the time. As I said above, it disconnects. Additionally, because of some hack that they are using to get this technology to work, you see a "Screen Sharing" icon in your dock and on your login screen that indicates your screen is being shared. This is how they got it to sort-of work. It's a poor design. I'm sticking with my more basic Sonnettech dock, which is truly plug-and-play and bulletproof, and sending this $300 piece of junk back. Releasing a premium device like this without properly testing the drivers and working out show-stopping bugs is unacceptable in 2025. How this won any awards is beyond me. But then, tech reporters are pretty dumb and biased nowadays.

I received my order however there was an issue. I ended up contacting Pluggable directly and they went above and beyond to resolve. While I haven't tested the product yet I will say I'm amazed at their customer service. Great company!

Excelente docking station, es de los únicos que soporta monitores ultrawide de 49" a 1440p. Mi única queja es que a veces el HDMI alt tiene intermitencias pero es raro y se recupera rápidamente

I don’t leave that many reviews but I just had to for this one. After installing the drivers I found for it online, I plug everything in and it all worked flawlessly with no issues whatsoever: I had all my displays setup in the correct position, rotation and orientation within minutes. Setup could not have gone more smoothly. Only tested this on a Mac but I assume it’s just as good on Windows. Pricey, but worth it! Edit: After some more time with this, I’ve frequently encountered issues waking my macbook from sleep, after which one or more of the screens will fail to reconnect and output video automatically and I’ll have to either disconnect and reconnect the whole adapter, or just the USB-C/HDMI cable for the screen that’s not working. It’s happened so many times I had to reduce my rating since it’s just too irritating and inconvenient to ignore. Still, while this is probably the best multi display link adapter out there, it’s too bad it doesn’t work perfectly all the time.

Does exactly as described. Easy to set up and I haven't experienced any issues with it. I have a total of 6 monitors and use 5 through this. Fantastic.

Ok, I just want to preface this by stating that I have purchased "Plugable" branded devices in the passt and this brand has really impressed me with the overall quality of their product line. When the opportunity to check out this USB Docking Station from them came along, I was very interesting in trying this out. On the surface, this may seem like a pricey device, but the overall quality and feature set of this up to 5 Display, USB Docking Station is most certainly here. I want to clarify that I did no testing with this and a Mac...just PC, as we don't use Mac in this household. If you require commentary on with regard to Mac functionality please consult other reviews in order to paint an overall picture of this device. This unit ships in a retail style printed box and includes a dedicated Power Adapter with Power Cord, and a very good quality USB-C Patch Cable. The device itself is amazingly compact and has good build quality. The included Power Adapter feeds the device 21/8.58A power the Barrel style input port on the rear. The rear USB-C port is rated for 140Watts, which is perfect for acting as a power pass thru for most modern laptops. Two front USB-A style 3.0 port. along with a USB-C also rated for up to 30W PD Charging and a mini Headphone Audio Jack along with 3 rear USB-C ports, hardwired Gigabit Ethernet, and an amazing Dual HDMI Video Output Panel (your choice of using either HDMI or USB-C) and/or combining them all for up to five 4K HD video output connections. In actual use I paired this device with a Windows Laptop system and tested functionality with 2 External 4K Displays connected along with mix of USB devices on the rear along with hardwired Gigabit Ethernet. I am really amazed by what this almost non-descript, simple looking little box can handle... and, for all intents and purposes, it's basically a plug and play setup for the most part (well, of course I had to configure my specific displays) I really have nothing but praise for this brand. This is the now the fourth device from Plugable that I have now used and I have been very impressed by the quality of their products. Equally impressive is the warranty on these products and you all Tech Support to give you a bit of peace of mind. This is certainly on the higher end of many adapter/hub products out there in terms of the overall price at current listing of $394, but it most certainly works as intended and is of very good quality. A Power Supply like the one included here would generally go for $50-$69 or even more from most brands on its own AND!.. I almost forgot to mention that the PSU is UL/CSA Safety Certified for further peace of mind. So, when I look at it all that way, $394 for everything together does seem to be in line with the overall quality of all of the included accessories and the very versatile functionality of this amazing USB Hub. I am going to give this product a solid 5 out of 5 Rating. It has more than exceeded my expections and I have now added this device into my home office setup. Highly Recommended!
