I've had this Smartish case for a couple of hours and already love it and realize it is the best case I've ever owned for an iPhone. I have a 14 Pro Max and the fit is perfect with my existing high quality screen protector, button presses are just as responsive as without a case, super fast mag charging with my Apple mag charger, audio is clear, and charging port is unobstructed with the case on.As the product description says, the sides of the case are a hard textured coating and the finger grip indents are game changing. The indents while subtle provide a very satisfying grip on the phone, not slippery, not too sticky, Gripzilla for sure! The back of the case is smooth. I've had the phone in and out of my pocket several times already and it doesn't stick to your pocket material like some of the other sticky silicone based cases (like what Apple sells!), it doesn't come out of your pocket with lint all over it! Seems like the case will protect the phone in the event you do drop it.Overall the case is very high quality and it looks great on the phone. Love this case. Worth every penny. Highly recommended for iPhone users. Great job Smartish!

Awesome case for the price. Great fitting case. Plenty of grip. I wish the buttons were a little more tactile, but I’m not going to dock the case based on that. Seems like it will be very protective. I will update review if anything changes.

What a great design. I have to say the waved edges make it super easy to grab and hold. Putting this on was easy. I never felt like my phone was in danger of breaking, as the plastic was more of a more rugged feel. I drop my phone on occasion, and I did get a slight crack on my screen protector. I have a bad habit of resting my phone on my lap and then forgetting and standing up, so the protection is really good. I still have this case as a backup simply because I purchased another case that I liked the look of. For the price point, this is the best case and design. It was super easy to remove for my new case, and like I said, this case will always be in my top 2.

This is simply a GREAT case for my iPhone 14 !... and NO, I am NOT receiving any compensation or rewards for my review.Just an honest review from someone who has struggled to find the right tactile-grip iPhone case.I've tried many other brands, but none have the grippiness and feel of this Smartish Gripzilla case.The liquid ones = NOThe beaver ones = NOThe expensive ones = NOMany, many others focus too much on drop protection, which IMHO means they know you're gonna drop their slick coated case :)Gripzilla has good drop protection as well, but Smartish focused on keeping the phone in your hands first and foremost, and it really shows. Kudos to their R&D team. They really did their homework.Fits snug. Buttons work perfectly. Brilliant hand-feel.Doesn't slide around, whether in my truck or on my desk with headphones.I could go on and on, but I am so happy with my Smartish Gripzilla that I will NOT be buying any other case until I upgrade my phone.Thank You

Big Pro- sculpted sides with a tactile material that gives it a good grip. Many phone cases are too slick to hold onto easily, especially if you are older or have arthritis. Silicone cases have a good grip but attract oil and dirt. This one threads the needle between easily grip able but not sticky. The finger ridges allow it to be held easily without slipping from my grip.Pro- Cushioned corners to prevent damage from falls on its edges or screen.Pro- Durable material around the edges of the case.Pro- Darned good looking casePro/Con - Speaker area is not covered by the case.Negative - The MagSafe magnet is weak. Weakest I have seen on a MagSafe case. I would be careful about using a vertical or slanted MagSafe charger with the phone in this case. It will fall off the charger.Negative - The raised area around the camera lenses barely protects the lenses. If this case gets dropped on it back on gravel, the lenses will be scratched.

For me, durability is the most important quality in a phone case. The investment in a new phone is substantial enough, so finding something that’s going to help keep it safe from my innate clumsiness is worth the cost.For my past few phones, I’ve been an Otterbox user, and being about as boring s a person can be, dark blue is about as colorful as I get. Not exactly a style maven.For my current phone, Otterboxes weren’t available for the model yet, and the first “armor” case I purchased felt alarmingly flimsy to my nervous self. This case was another highly rated option, so I gave it a try and am happy I did. The built in grip was a pleasant discovery, helping me feel like I really do have a better hold on the phone. I’ve had a few drops already because…well, because I’m me. Thus far, the case has protected the phone perfectly. Worth noting, I do also use a “tempered glass” screen protector and for the first time, a protector on the rear camera lenses. (What can I say, I’m extra cautious.)This is also the first time I’ve had a MagSafe capable iPhone, so finding a durable case that also had that compatibility felt a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack, but find the needle I did. With the new MagSafe PopSocket and charger I received, this case has worked flawlessly. Protection was my first priority, but this was an added bonus.I would wholeheartedly recommend this case if you’re looking to protect your investment in your phone.

My husband has had this case for 2.5 years and it still looks brand new. It is sleek and protective. We don’t use wireless chargers, so I can’t attest to that. It has held up to many drops!
