Wow! Maybe the best product I've ever purchased on Amazon. Absolutely whisper quiet. When I first turned it on I thought oh it's not working. It was working. Multiple speeds make it really great to adjust. Hard to believe a product that looks this good, and yes, it's plastic but feels this good at this price. Honestly fits my innovative, marine all in one tank perfectly.

review subject to change upon usage: Fresh out of the box: I was most concerned it would not fit over the rim of my regular, black rimmed tank. On the rimmed tanks I own: a Marineland 10 gal tank- it fits all 4 sides; an Imaginarium 10 gal- it fits the front or back panels; an Aqueon 20 gal- it does NOT fit over the rim on any side. You could prob cut knotches in the tank rim to slide the fan clips into and it would fit nice and secure, but if you break the glass while cutting 😳. The measuring of the clip opening is ~1.5cm, hope that helps. You can also see wiring on the side that faces the water, which is a concern bc I am also using bubbles to cool my tank (it is like that in the advertisment, but concerns me as far as longevity). I do LOVE that if the power goes out, when it comes back on, it picks up where it left off, so functional with other timing options. It is very quiet, even on highest setting. Attached to a lamp next to tank for time being and it has already decreased temp by 2-3 degrees on highest setting. I imagine on the side of the tank it would be very effective on a low setting. I will update after some usage.

Mounts securely and the ability to set the fan speed is great to control both temperature and water evaporation. Keeps the tank temp regulated in conjunction with the heater. Minimal noise but not dead silent, but costs way less than a chiller.

The part that screws onto the edge of your aquarium is so narrow that I couldn't fit it onto the side of my aquarium. My aquarium is a VERY standard size, so I image that many other people will run into this same issue. Also, when the fan was turned up all the way on HIGH, it still felt pretty weak. The price was fair. I like the various settings. I like the timer feature. I like the variety in speeds. It was shipped to me promptly. I simply couldn't use it because the bracket opening is too narrow.

After reading others reviews I expected this to only make a degree or two of difference but it lowered the temp in my 20 gal long tank by 6 degrees! It is a little noisy, but worth it.

It really works grea. I have a 10gallon fish tank and it decrease the water temperature by 8° degrees in a metter of 2hrs.

We had really hot heat waves in the East Coast of the US, and I was worried about my fish tank getting too hot. This fan significantly reduced the water temperature up to 6-7 degrees from 88 to 82 degrees farenheight.
