Produces a slight calming effect
When taking the recommended max dose of 2 pills it does seem to produce a slight calming effect. Overall achieves the desired effect before bed time. I use a tissue when handling these pills or the foul smell sticks to the fingers and hard to wash off.

This product really works, give it a time and you'll see results
I love my new Valerian Root. I was going to a very stressful situation, and went to my primary physician. Gave me a very mild dose of medication, but it gave me massive headaches. For some unknown reason, came to Amazon to see if they have something to relax me and there it is, the Valerian Root. Took it just on Saturday, 9/5, and what a difference. I slept very good and woke up recharged. Of course, my stress did not go away all of the sudden, but I am also doing lots of walking exercising, a little bit of cardio, and breathing exercises also help. These capsules really work and they put me to sleep in no time. I love this product. Highly recommended.
