Toolwiz 36" Magnetic Sweeper with Wheels, 50 Lbs Capacity Quick Release

Beyond my expectations!! Just had a lot of construction finished and was having a huge party. I was afraid of my guests stepping on nails and screws and what all this magnet roller picked up was incredible!! Didn’t even know there was a rusted razor blade left in the grass. Picked up rebar, all the nails & screws and even the tiny metal shavings when cutting the corrugated metal sheets. Beyond happy and at ease of not hurting the feet of my guests. We have more construction coming up and it will be used again. Also, if you drop a metal piece, this roller will sure help you find it!! I believe all construction companies should have one of these after they have completed a job!

I had no idea what was lurking in my gravel driveway. I’ve used a less powerful handheld magnet before and thought I did a thorough job but boy was I wrong. After using this for only 15 mins, it picked up 30+ screws, nails, etc. and saved me countless trips to have my tires patched. If want peace of mind not having to worry about driving over or stepping on metal, this product is for you. It’s very sturdy, easy to assemble, and is even enjoyable to use.

Very strong magnet and works really well

I want to like this and it picks things up well, but it takes removing 8 screws and repositioning both axels to change the height. I know this is an entry level magnet but almost every application would require the ability to move over various surfaces and a few wing-nuts could have provided at least a workable manual adjustment rather than complete disassembly. Compared to other options it’s not a bad deal, I just can’t understand leaving out a simple solution for height adjustment that would have made this a 5 star product with almost no change in manufacturing cost.

I recently had a new roof installed, and I (hesitantly, due to price) purchased this magnet to give me extra piece of mind after the work was done. I have small kids, and I didn't want to have to worry about them getting hurt outside. The roofing work was done by a reputable roofing company, and they ran magnets over the property after the job was completed. I did my own magnet walk with this product after they left. I was shocked at what I was able to find with this magnet! You can view the attached picture to see for yourself. I am certain some of the nails I found were from the LAST roofing job some 22 years ago! I know the magnet is expensive, but it is worth every penny to not worry about accidents after roof work.

Shipping was spot on. It arrived on time. Well packaged with even wood inserts to protect the axle bolts. Just had work done and nails were in driveway that my small driveway magnet missed after going over it five times. This sweeper once assembled added another 10 nails to the total and impressed me like I didn't think it would. It made fast work and I was able to do a 75ft driveway three times from garage to street in less than 20 minutes. My old one took about 20 minutes to do about a third and didn't have the ease of use with wheels. Great product, great price, great job done! I will consider other products from this vendor.

Wheels bent from weight of magnet rolling on ground and caused dragging issues. Attempted to bend wheels back to original position and the axles broke. I have purchased another set of wheels that had a replacement mounts included that are very sturdy and magnet has been given another chance to function properly.

We use the magnet to pick up nails in the parking lot. We have a dumpster and sharp metal is always in the parking lot. This magnet works great. It picks up much better than the small magnets and it covers more ground. When we first received it, I had just gone over the parking lot with the small magnet. So I went over it again with this one and it picked up more metal. It also rolls better and is easier to maneuver.

Absolutely fantastic

I bought the 36” and had a 17” prior to that. Had taken the 17” one to the lawns after the roofer reshingled my roof. It had picked out a few nails, but missed a lot. I took the 36” over the same area, set at its upper height for lawn clearance and the amount it picked up was amazing. Went over all areas around the house and 2 time it barely got any more, so my lawn tractor won’t get any flat tires to be repaired. That alone paid for the 36” sweeper.

Used it to sweep for nails and screws after building a large indoor arena. It worked very well indeed. Sucked up metal like a champion and was easy to use

Device seems reasonably robust and was easy to put together. It seems to do the job well though it would be helpful if these magnetic devices actually told you the strength of the magnet as in Magnetic Field Strength in Gauss or Tesla and/or Pull Force expressed in kilograms (kg). Don't believe the "can collect up to 50 Lbs/ 22.67 kg" is Pull Force. However it would be improved if it was easier to change the ground clearance. As it says it has 3 ground clearance heights ("Can be adjusted to 3 different height 2cm / 3.56cm / 5cm (0.8'' / 1.4'' / 2'')") I was expecting it to have slots that the axle on each side could be simply moved into. Instead you have to loosen 2 nuts on each side (and 1 of those is hidden under the end plate which requires 4 screws to remove) so although quite simple it is NOT something you want to do frequently. This does mean it is adjustable within the top and bottom range and does NOT just have the 3 heights but overall I would much prefer the simple adjustment of a slot system. Still found me lots of nails etc so far and so glad I have it.

Works great picks up good and easy to release items collected. Wish I’d went with narrower one, only because area I was using it on wasn’t smooth. Kept bottoming out in middle no fault of manufacturer.
