This works as well as the original foot switch accessory that came with the Peavy amp originally. Love it!

I originally ordered the wrong pedal from an aftermarket company. 2nd time around I played it safe and went with Peavey. This pedal is pretty standard for Peavy and it actually controls 2 of the 3 Peavey stacks I have. Good quality product that I know will last quite some time. The old pedal I was replacing was from my Triumph 120 and I bought that 20 years ago. I used it until it died two weeks ago.

I bought this foot switch to modify it. My Peavey ultra 60 (410 speaker enclosure) did not have the foot switch for changing channels and switching on and off the reverb. This trans tube special 212 pedal has an identical layout to the original Ultra foot switch, and has all seven wires needed to re wire accordingly. After the rewire to the numbers of the individual DIN pin for the ultra 60 diagram, (which did require some different connections) the pedal worked fine! Though, and this maybe a problem with my 20 year old amp, the led for the ultra channel and reverb channel, wouldn’t light from time to time, unless you jiggled cord at the back of the amp, but the switching worked perfectly. The Transtube special 212 pedal didn’t feel heavy duty, but at less than $60.00, it’s fine for me.

I couldn't find this where I live (Spain) so I order it from US. Product is exactly as described and exactly what I needed. It was delivered much quicker than I expected. I am very satisfied with my purchase and very happy with this vendor.

Bought this for my peavey ultra tone 120 head and it’s didn’t work even though it said it was the same foot switch. If you’re looking for one, I’ll sell mine for cheap

The footswitch plugged into my amp perfectly and even lit up but would not change the amps channels when used. not sure if it was defective or if the packaging was a lie. said to work with a transtube special 212. I know that their is multiple models of this amp but the product description did not specify. got my hopes up for nothing.

this footswitch doesn't work with Peavey Special 212, it plugs in but doesn't do anything. total scam.

Works perfectly for a red stripe Special 212. Keep in mind that the channel selector switch on the amp has to be in the “Ultra” position to function properly. I have two red stripe Special 212’s and it works as it should on both of them. If Peavey could’ve made them with more spacing between switches I’d give 5 stars.
