Skullcandy is the expectation to my ears and what they did
Let me tell you my experiment with these earbuds. I ordered the earbuds. Got them in the mail the next couple of days. I read all the directions on how to get it started. And I noticed that my right earbud was not wanting to charge correctly. The left earbud would charge to 100%.. right earbud only wanted to charge anywhere from 94% to 98% and not 100%.. I charged the complete case with the earbuds in it. Still the right earbud was at 94% and the left earbud was 100%. I decided to wear them for a couple of hours. Well I noticed within 30 minutes my right earbud went from 94 to 60 % when my left ear bud was 92%. I quite didn't understand what was going on to make the right earbud do what it did. So I got in contact with Skullcandy and they told me that I needed to reset and uninstall the app. So I did everything that they said to do. And still nothing happened. So I returned them. And got to replacement. And let me tell you I've had these for a couple of days and they work perfectly fine. They charge correctly. The earbuds are fine The bass in the sound is great. I've had other earbuds in the past that were noise canceling. But none of them were the supreme notch on these earbuds. I've never Bose earbuds before. But knowing that Bose is the top of the line for their radios that they had back in the days and for their headphones. I would say these are the great . Like when I put these in my ears I can hear what they do to my ears as a noise canceling sucks in the outside and closes it. Some earbuds will say that they have noise canceling but they could be 30% noise canceling 50%. But with these I believe that these are 100% noise canceling to my ears. They are great around the house, being outdoors, and going on vacation. The one thing that I wish that they had done was where I could say hey Alexa and have Alexa interact with me through the earbuds. Now for the color I got back. I wish they had a dark blue or a dark gray. I wish they had a flame one that was fire on the black one with the flame symbols on it. Something about flames and black stand out that I like. For the value of the money on these earbuds. Skullcandy has other earbuds that you can get that are lower in price than what these are. I would have to say for the value of the money of these I would say they do what they do for the price.

Great value! Wonderful smooth sound. I would buy these again.
Love these! The sound quality is rich and smooth. I was initially hesitant to buy Skullcandy but these are fantastic! They give Bose great sound technology without the Bose price tag. My use is primarily for listening to music and watching movies. Pairing was easy and the fit is so comfortable. Although the charging case is larger than most other types I like that the size makes it easy to find in a duffle/gym bag and the case doesn't pop open if dropped. I haven't actually measured the battery life but it does seem like the earbuds and case drain a little faster than some other earbuds that I've had but they still last for many hours. I bought them refurbished so this could be part of the battery issue. The setup for the earbud controls was easy to do with the app. The earbud tap controls work really well without having to try to pinpoint an exact location to tap. All of my callers said that the sound was very clear and they didn't realize that I was talking through the earbuds. No weird sounds, echos, etc. They have a snug fit so they don't easily pop out of the ears when exercising. Great value for the money and I would buy them again.

Maybe defective?
Update April 2026: They stopped working completely a couple of weeks back so we issued a refund, Amazon gave us instructions and we followed them to the T including where to drop them off. Skull candy issued a early refund, all is going well until nearly a month later we get email from skull candy saying they never received the package and are going to charge us. so we contacted amazon which made us jump through AI assistants hops and crap, we temporarily gave up and contact skull candy for them to tell us; "For Skullcandy to look up a return, we must have a Skullcandy-issued RMA number (formatted like RMA-1234567). Amazon order numbers or tracking numbers unfortunately won’t allow me to access the return in our system. Could you please check your email to see if you ever received a return confirmation from Skullcandy with an RMA number? It may be in your spam or junk folder". Amazon never gave us a RMA number so skull candy couldn't do anything. eventually we got a hold of a real person on Amazon who said they would take care of it and not to worry about any messages they fixed on their end. two weeks go by and we again get the pop up in the orders area on Amazon and an email, we ignore it because we were told not to worry about any messages amazon fixed it. Date in the new email saying to return before getting charged goes by and we got charged because nobody can find the product now we are out the money for the skull candy earbuds and don't even have the product. Original Review: The sound quality is good, and I love that when you take one ear bud out it pause the music. The case seems fragile but hasn't broken yet however my Husband only took it to work one day before deciding it wouldn't workout it kept turning the music on and off as the sun went behind clouds or bending up and down or the wind hit it. The charging port on the container doesn't have a cover to keep dirt or water out. The right ear disconnects a lot, powers off or doesn't turn on at first when pulled out and sometimes makes a horrible eeeeeeee sound while in the case until we readjust it as well as both ear buds don't seem to hold charge more than 6 hours if that before needing atleast half an hour or so recharge in the case and then you have to charge up both earbuds again and case in another 6 or so hours. Also not for small ears I have been using them inside since my husband stopped using them, unfortunately we throw away the packaging so I don't know if they will let us return it.

comfort, sound & noise cancellation
This product has been by far the best earbuds I have used. I have always enjoyed the Skullcandy producst over the years. I have had several models, all produced great sound. The only issue I have had is the ability for these earbuds to stay in my ear when active. The Method 360 product does exactly that for me. When I insert them, it feels as if they are griping to my ear and not forced by shoving into my ear canal. It feels like they are holding on to the outer part of my ear. These are also very comfortable for me. I can wear these all day long and forget they are there. This along with great noise cancellation, I travel for work therefore I fly, and sound quality make this a great product for me. I purchase these when there were much cheaper. I would pay today's price knowing what I know. I am not a bot. I actually live in Idaho. This is another great product from Skullcandy. These fit my ear profile wonderfully. Keep that in mind.

Major quality control issues
The sound quality on these earphones is amazing. This is the first time ive ever used any earphones with active noice cancelation and I can't go back anymore. Coming from 3 year old skullcandy rails before, this is definitely a big step up. Charging is with a usb-c connection so I just use the cable I have for charging my phone. Makes it really convenient and easy. The battery lasts about 5 days with 3 hours a day of usage, probably can get 6 days but I charge them after 5 days just in case. Now, all that being said, there are some issues unfortunately. Issues I believe stem from quality control, or lack thereof. First of all, the first set I got ended up constantly dropping audio. The audio would completely cut out and go silent while the song continued on so it sounded like random sound cutting out. The anc still remained on but the audio would just cut out constantly. So I had to ask for a replacement. Now, the 2nd pair worked better but every now and then the audio would still cut out, to the point of it being almost twice a day and I use these things 5 days a week for about 3 hours a day. Thats gonna be -1 star. Another issue is that the left earbud would not turn on by itself when pulled out of the case like the right earbud would. Id always have to turn it on manually by holding the touch sensor on the left bud for a few seconds. Not a big issue if it was only once but it is every single time I want to use them. Thats twice a day, 5 days a week at least. The rails never had this issue. So thats -1 star again. Lastly, after only 6 months of use the left earbud's casing split apart when I pulled it out of my ear. That's something id expect to happen after years of use, not 6 months. So I had to RMA them through the 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Thats yet another -1 star The newest ones, my 3rd pair of these earphones now, seem to be working much better. Rarely drops the audio, both earbuds turn on when pulled out of the case as well. Here's hoping they last more than 6 months.. if not, after having used skullcandy for the past 15+ years and recommending them to all my friends and family, I might finally have to switch to a new brand. Cause at this price point, thats far too many issues sadly. All in all, audio quality is amazing on these things, but build quality definitely leaves something to be desired.

Don't Even Wanna Use Them Anymore
* In regards to the below review I made, I found a solution that works for all the rest of the people, like me, that may be frustrated and unable to return due to being way past the return period. I found that by taking the rubber ring off, that the earbuds still stayed in my ear just fine, but the very frustrating thing of not being able to dock the earbuds is completely gone! They snap right in place in the housing unit, no annoying beep from them not connecting or not charging. I can at least enjoy them without most of the frustration. **************************************** I bought these around end of summer last year but had a lot going on and am just now able to write me review. This is kinda good though, because I'm able to not be stuck on the great sound of the earbuds, so here goes. This has been my most "expensive" pair of earbuds I've ever purchased, and has been the worst Bluetooth earbud experience I've ever had. First of all, the sound of these is great, at least to my ear. But the housing, and the silicone rings that come on them make it a nightmare trying to charge. The silicone pieces are constantly coming off, and when they do, and you try to put them back in the charging case when done with them, it won't charge. Then, sometimes as a result of that, it also doesn't disconnect from your phone. Also, if it isn't in the exact perfect place in the housing, it emits this really annoying beeping noise. I know other people that have these same earbuds and they all have the same issues. I was so excited to get a pair of "nice to me" earbuds, and now I don't even use them anymore cause it's way too frustrating to keep dealing with all the issues.

Human Sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria! Maybe not...
Ohhhh my. The hype machine is in full gear with these bad boys. Everyone online seems to be fawning over these, even Flossy Carter has weighed in. And you know what that means. Whenever Flossy Carter gives a positive review, you can almost watch the sales curve jump through the roof.. And such as the case when Flossy recently reviewed this set of "premium" earbuds by... yeah you read that right. Skullcandy. Skullcandy isn't the first name to come in mind when you think premium audio products. Nor does the Skullcandy demographic invoke images of audiophiles discussing the size of the sound space or about sound profiles at given frequency ranges. In fact, when Skullcandy writes "Sound by Bose" you can be forgiven if you think that Skullcandy simply paid a hefty price to put Bose on the outside of the box. You might even suspect "Bose" of selling out, simply collecting a check for the use of their IP on the outside. But make no mistake, these earbud's clearly have Bose DNA in them. And even if you aren't the type that wears stocking caps or clips your earbuds to a backpack or belt loop, the slightly less sophisticated appearance of these is immediately forgotten when you hit "play". Now if you are expecting Bose level ANC, let me dissuade you of that idea immediately. The boys at Bose aren't going to sell the milk cow and the entire farm. So if you think you're walking out with $300 QC Ultra headphones in Skullcandy branding, I hate to disappoint you. There is no comparison in the ANC department. That being said, the ANC is adequate, and even favorably compares to my old Sony WF1000XM3's, which is still pretty impressive at this price point, but if you think this is going to topple the latest ANC from Bose or Sony, there's no danger in that. The ANC still is quite good, and the best part is that the sound profile does not significantly change when you cycle between ANC on and Off. Many less expensive ANC buds get bass forward and have a completely different profile when ANC is on, which is a real pain. The Skullcandy's remain consistent between all three modes (transparency, normal, and ANC). When I turn ANC on and off, I don't want the music to change, simply the background noise to disappear. And the Method 360's handle this with aplomb. And that sound profile? 100% Bose. And that is glorious. There is a bass boost function in the app for those bass heads, and a 5 channel EQ to further customize the sound. But to be honest. These things sound great and balanced when flat. The bass is present and has definite punch, but in a precise way. It is not booming, but crisp and exact. The mids are nice and full and the highs are presented with crystal clarity without being tinny. I'm not sure how Bose/Skullcandy are doing it, but these are some of the best sounding single driver bud's I've put in my ears. The $100 to $130 price range is right on target as well. My only complaints here are cosmetic. The earbud case is simply unreasonably large. I get it, I'm not the demographic, but since I'm primarily using these while on a plane, sticking the case in a zipper pocket of my carryon isn't a deal killer. Also, the orientation of the buds in the case are a bit problematic. Quick Tip: Hold the case upside down with the case facing towards you (you're looking at the skull) and pull the ring down. At this point the buds are not only on the correct side of your head, but they are in almost the same orientation as you would stick in your ears. Once you learn this trick, you'll never fumble putting these in and out again. But then again I shouldn't have to publish a tip on how to take the buds in and out of the case. Overall, a great set of headphone at a great price, and while they aren't earth shattering, they definitely brought Bose within the reach of an entirely new demographic, and that, is good for all involved.

Nice but could be better
These are very bassy and loud headphones and cancels out sound from the outside. Only downside side I have with these is when I have both in and only want to use one it's hard to only turn one off and if you have one in your pocket while the other is in it will stop and play while moving around in your pocket.

Best under 100 bucks for earbuds
Back at It I was trying these buds in comparison to the Sony WF1000XM6 and I was surprised by many of their aspects. I will thoroughly describe those. Case, portability and design: Well, if you've seen the pictures, the case is not really the definition of portable. It is supposed to be attached to a backpack or a purse, so it is made with a latch on top. It is not very pocketable, but might still slide in your back pockets, if you don't mind the bulging. They will not fit into a jeans money pocket. The design of the buds themselves is interesting. They mimic the large stem bud stile of Bose QC earbuds and have basically the same shape and size. They have fins for stability and display the Skull logo on the back. They definitely look very good, but maybe they are more for the youth. The case slides upwards with the buds inserted upside-down, so it might be difficult the first times to know which way is which. Still very different and anticomformistic. 8/10 Comfort: since they mimic the Bose's style of earbuds those are very comfortable. It still, always depends on ear shape, but the fins help stabilize the fit and the silicon eartips do not press much on the sides of the ear canal. 9/10 Connectivity: they boast multipoint and 5.3, SBC and AAC codec. The lack of any Hi-Res codec is a shame considering their price and the fact that Soundcore puts LDAC basically everywhere. Sound tho, is very much the same anyway and audiophiles will not like these. It's not really a problem. Connection is stable. 8/10 App: the new Skullcandy app allows you to fully customize controls, EQ them (5 bands), activate Low Latency mode, see battery life etc. The app is minimalistic and has no smart features, but does it's job and is not buggy. Although you cannot directly customize call controls. 7.5/10 Call quality: in extremely loud environments, these might struggle with noise rejection and reject your own voice. Tho, unless you are in a concert, they have one of the best call quality in this range, comparable to Liberty 4 pro. 9/10 Noise cancelling and transparency: the fins help them obtain a better seal and the eartips contribute to isolation. The ANC unit can easily reduce loudness by a total of 82-83% in low frequencies (around 28dB less). You might still hear voices and high impact acute sounds, but it's to be expected at this price. Transparency was improved by an update and it works really well. They do a good job in amplifying voices and I would rate them fairly well while driving. The transparency is natural and never really bloated. Your voice, tho, sounds bloated. (9/10) Sound quality: hear me out, these are the best sounding earbuds imo, even better than XM6. Now I know this might seem dumb. The Method 360 ANC have a very bass forward profile and high-mids treble focused response, so they might sound closed with the music preset. I find these to have one of the most open soundstages on the market, remarkably better than Sony WF1000XM6. They immerse you in sound and can sound very accurate with EQ. I suggest an EQ like -4 , -3, +2, -1, +3 and you will get a very mid forward sound, with good instrument separation and an incredibly open soundstage, without compromising bass response, just reducing the bloat. The sound is tuned by Bose, and it shows in the highs. 9.5/10. I suggest buying these as a daily driver as they have very similar performance as the Bose QC ultra 2gen earbuds, for 1/3 of the price. Overall 8.4/10 Very good for Skullcandy, not so much for premium competitors. Cya

Airpods Pro gave out after a few years. These are great! Bulky case, but holds lots of charge. The sound is excellent. great bass and depth. The noise-cancelling is awesome. Fit well during exercise, too.
