This set was very easy to make considering you’re doing this with a newborn. The video directions were great and easy to follow. This is such a great keepsake as you can do so much with the molds. It’s great value for your money since this is such a sentimental item to remember how small your baby really is. I put the molds on a piece of paper and then into a shadow box to place on the wall.

Great memory makers-They were so cute I had to make 2 sets! The completed sets were perfect size (I guess it depends on the child) but the mold materials had more than enough to make no matter what the size of your child is. Great value for the money since you get a hand and a foot. Honestly, instead of doing a hand and a foot , you could always do 2 hands or 2 feet depending on your preference. Easy to use and fun to make!

Easy to follow instructions. Easy assembly. Easy cleanup. Adorable finished mold. Definitely do it while baby is asleep or if baby is calm and doesn't like to play in water. Wait until the mold is getting grey, almost fully grey, then dip. If you do it right when it starts turning grey you have to sit longer and that makes it hard to keep baby still. Quality of mold is good. Great for new parents. Easy to remove from babies skin.

the idea is precious but this kit is not user friendly at all. i bought this in a bundle with the large hand casting kit and that one set before i even finished mixing the molding powder, complete waste of money that i'm so upset about. we tried to do the baby foot mold from this kit after the first fail and it came out terribly. even with adjusting to colder water so the mold didn’t set so fast and a still baby, it hurts my heart that you can’t even make out details of her foot other than the general foot shape. i feel like i completely wasted my money and didn’t even get one nice keepsake out of either kit.

I had to order it twice to get it right. This is not easy to do and you need a lot of patience and a very compliant/sleeping baby. The first time, we followed the instructions and it came out horrible. Second time, I did it by myself and it was hard to do it without help but it came out good. My baby was 4 months, knocked out the second time, and she woke up mid way between each mold then fell back asleep. First time we did it, she was 2.5/3 months and wiggly so it was tough. I think no matter what, you’ll probably get some bubbles in the mold. Depending on how the baby folds their hands, you’ll likely get the jelly part of the mold stuck in the cast. The sand paper is helpful but needs to be more heavy duty if you need to fix blemishes. The gold is like a very light gold and the silver is basically white and hard to see against the white mold. I bought metallic copper spray paint so it can be closer to my baby’s complexion, but I could’ve also done a metallic gold or silver and it would’ve looked just as beautiful. The pictures of the white mold is our first try and the picture of the brown mold in the casing is our second try and first so product. Overall, I think this is worth it as a keepsake. I intend to display it then put it in a keepsake trunk of sentimental items for my baby to have and cherish forever.

This was fun and stressful to do with an 8 month old! It didn’t turn out the best because I have a wiggler and he was wide awake when we did it but the hand turned out pretty decent!

Easy to read instructions with a video; did this project with my 3 year old and he absolutely loved it. Came out great!

Sweet Keepsake for Baby I really loved this baby casting kit. It was easy to use, and the finished castings turned out so cute and detailed. A special way to keep those little memories forever.

Pretty easy to make! Just need to make sure the baby is in a deep sleep and doesn’t move around.

I've ordered this brand for all 3 of my babies. First baby had the best quality. Unfortunately, baby 2 and 3 it didn't turn out as well. Even with following instructions perfectly and using baby oil to help avoid bubbles or breaks - they still broke. Tried to repair but didn't work. Quality declined over the years.
