Insta360 X5 - Waterproof 8K 360° Action Camera, Leading Low Light, Invisible Selfie Stick Effect, Rugged and Replaceable Lens, 3-Hour Battery, Built-in Wind Guard, Stabilization, Triple AI Chip Design

I picked up the Insta360 X5 for a recent vacation, and it completely changed the way I captured memories. The invisible selfie stick effect is every bit as cool as it looks in the ads. It creates unique angles that make it look like a drone is following you, even though you're simply holding the stick. The 360° footage gives you so much flexibility because you don't have to worry about perfectly framing every shot in the moment. I was able to focus on enjoying the trip and choose the best angles later during editing. The video quality is impressive, stabilization works extremely well while walking, and the battery life was more than enough for my day-to-day sightseeing. I also appreciated how rugged the camera feels and the fact that the lenses are replaceable for extra peace of mind when traveling. If you enjoy travel, cruising, hiking, theme parks, or just documenting adventures in a unique way, this camera is a lot of fun. The invisible selfie stick alone makes it worth considering, and the footage gets plenty of "How did you film that?" comments from friends and family.

I absolutely love my Insta360 camera! It has been fantastic for all of my outdoor activities and has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of gear. One of the things I like most is how versatile it is. Whether I'm exploring outdoors, attending events, or just capturing everyday moments, the camera produces great footage and gives me angles that would be difficult to get with a traditional camera. I also feel comfortable using it while motorcycle riding. It mounts securely and allows me to capture my rides safely without having to worry about missing the experience. The video quality is impressive, and the ability to capture so much of the surroundings makes for amazing footage. Overall, I highly recommend this camera to anyone who enjoys outdoor adventures, travel, or motorcycle riding. It's easy to use, fun to experiment with, and delivers great results.

This camera is really cool and invites a new way to film. I am primarily using it as I walk around new places for the first time. I can take a video one time and go back and chop up a video of all the sites. Took on a 3 week trip and took lots of video. This kit is a really good deal (at the time I bought it) because it was $100 cheaper than the store and included some nice accessories. The cap is critical for this camera and the extra battery and stick are solid. The nice thing about this camera's batteries is they super charge fast so in less than an hour you can go from almost dead to 100%. That's pretty amazing. I even dropped mine without the cover once and the ball screens survived and the camera seemed unaffected. This camera is alot of fun and the deal on Amazon makes it the best place to buy it, at least currently.

I love this camera! It does so much! I can take Photos and choose perfect angle, and that same path videos! Also, you can make a gyroscope video that is like the viewer is in the room! Amazing.

I’ve been extremely impressed with my Insta360 camera. One of the standout features is the software—it’s intuitive, powerful, and packed with smart tools that make editing both fun and easy. The built-in AI is a game changer, helping automate shots and edits in a way that saves time while still delivering professional-looking results. Setup was incredibly simple, even right out of the box, and I was able to start capturing content almost immediately. The camera produces incredible videos and photos, with excellent clarity and dynamic angles that really bring moments to life. Overall, Insta360 delivers an amazing balance of innovation and ease of use. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, it makes creating high-quality, engaging content effortless.

The Insta360 X5 takes 360° content creation to the next level. With stunning 8K video, improved low-light performance, replaceable lenses, incredible stabilization, and the famous invisible selfie stick effect, it's one of the most versatile cameras available today. Whether you're creating real estate tours, travel videos, or social media content, the X5 delivers professional-quality results in a rugged, waterproof package.

I joke with friends that I'm using the X5 to record video of death-defying, bone-breaking keyboard, flute, and cello performances. Seriously, though, the X5 is nothing less than AMAZING for my calm recordings of beautiful music. Even the built-in audio mics are up to the task, with a bit of help from the Izotope Ozone Elements audio mixing plugin for DaVinci Resolve Fairlight (I use the Warm Synth preset). It's absolutely wonderful to be able to place the tiny camera 1-2 inches from the keyboard, and it will capture the pianist as the main eye-strong subject with the flute and cello nicely framed as secondary subjects. The recordings are simply stunning - I film in ProRes 4K/30 at High bitrate, then edit in Resolve (not much editing needed). Even though the file size is huge (25GB for 5 min of music), the workflow is VERY smooth with my i5 PC and RTX 3080 graphics card. I look forward eagerly to doing more music recordings, as they yield beautiful video and audio. (The ProRes 422 footage is amazing before export - every little bit of quality helps.) I export in H.264, as there is a bit of quality loss with H.265. The resulting file for YouTube is around 2 GB, which is very reasonable. An added wonderful benefit is that I can place the X5 and then go and site 50 feet away across the room and start/stop/monitor the recording on my iPhone via the very reliable wifi connection.

Don’t get this combo. Pretty much worthless. Great camera otherwise. :)

Brilliant camera. Cant fault it so far be carefull to select the correct package for you and watch for offers. I bought then the price dropped more than 100eurs so i returned unopened and bought again at the lower price. 1 fault is a bit of a pain in the ... to down load images/footage with out using the cloud app... deliberately designed that way to tie one into long term cloud storage from insta. Naughty!!!

Very reasonable price lower from the physical store. Amazing.
