After five years, my Sony remote started acting up; buttons working intermittently and workable distance declining. So I purchased what appeared to be an identical replacement on Amazon. Surprised when it had the same problems, as my old one, only worse! Thought it might be my TV, but then I ordered this Loutoc because it did not look identical. It arrived today and to my relief it worked perfectly. No problem paIring, buttons work on first press, and like my original remote when it was a teenager, even works from my deck, though the glass sliders! All is well now.

It’s worked great while our primary Sony remote was missing. Now that our primary was found, we use them interchangeably with no true preference. There might be the occasional missed signal, but it doesn’t impact me at all.

Works great What I like: 1 - Works well as intended, all the buttons are functional/compatible with the Sony TV. 2 - Build quality is good, feels heavy and durable. Unlike some cheaper Samsung/LG TV remotes. 3 - Buttons are light yet sturdy, easy to use. Button labels are clear and legible. 4 - Looks nice, design looks like the original and can't really can't tell the difference. 5 - Size and shape are just right, no weird shape like a freaking shoe on my couch.

Works great but can't update the remote. My TV tells me to update every time I turn it on and it always fails. Other than that, it's a good replacement.

It's the most plug and play device I think I've ever bought. I thought they would be some difficulty pairing it with the TV but it didn't need any pairing. It just worked right out of the box..

It's working fine now but was a bugger to get it going. Pressing the tool key was useless. It did pair readily with my TV after setting it up with the old remote but still didn't work until I stumbled onto "connect to tv" button. It then needed an update that took a long time to download. At this point you may wonder why I gave it four stars. Well, I bought it because, while I love my Sony TV and wouldn't buy anything else, I hate my Sony remote. It's too big and has too many superfluous buttons. I could never find the right one in a dimly lit room. Once working, this remote is smaller (about the size of an Alexa remote) has all the necessary buttons and only a few unnecessary ones like streaming services ones, which I will disable. All in all, I do like this remote.

Back key did not work and I have to buy new one.

Very useful, all buttons connect except voice which may be because the tv can only connect to one voice button (on main remote) at a time. This remote is smaller and much easier to hold and operate with all the essential functions and I particularly like the one touch shortcut buttons to Netflix, Prime, Disney and YouTube
