What is the difference between the pancake mix and the baking mix?

The main difference in our Gluten-Free Pancake Mix and our Gluten-Free All-Purpose Baking Mix, is that the pancake mix is used to make pancakes and waffles and has some sugar added to it. While the Gluten-Free All-Purpose Baking Mix doesn't have sugar in it and was designed to be used in a specific set of recipes that can be found on our site by searching for "Gluten-Free All-Purpose Baking Mix" under the recipe category. What is the expiration date on these?

How is it gluten-free if the 'brown' of brown rice is the outer skin on the grain and that skin IS the gluten?

Hi Greg. Thanks for reaching out with your question. All natural forms of rice (whether it is brown, white or wild varieties) are considered to be gluten free. Our products are certified by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (a program of the Gluten Intolerance Group), which currently offers the most stringent threshold for testing certification available to us. To meet GFCO’s requirements, products must be tested as gluten-free to less than 10ppm. By using GFCO certification, we exceed the FDA’s standard for gluten-free, which is set to less than 20ppm.
