Fantastic Quality Sony television with incredible 4K upscaling at a reasonable price
This TV is well worth the money with fantastic picture quality using my PS5, my Apple TV 4K, and the built-in google OS. The Dolby Vision HDR is impressive. The picture is very clear and vivid, even with settings turned down. I am quite impressed with the mini LED ability to deliver much deeper blacks in movies and games. It was super easy for me to set up. The legs (or feet) just slide right into their slots and click into place with no other hardware required to install them. I have mine connected to my fiber optic internet connection via cat 6 cable. The peripherals are connected via high speed HDMI cables. The built-in speakers have decent sound quality, better than I expected in my modest apartment. I may invest in a sound bar in the future for improved “surround” sound effects that take advantage of the Dolby Atmos audio. It powers on instantly and has ZERO lag time when operating, putting it MILES ahead of any fire tv set I’ve owned before it. I became tired of the 3-year shelf life of my old Insignia, as the back light quit suddenly. I was willing to invest in a better quality built Sony television that should last for many years longer, instead of throwing away a cheap television every few years, since electronic waste is fast becoming a major problem today. I’ve had great success with Sony TVs in the past, including my first 40 inch Bravia HD TV I bought back in 2005, which still works great today as a second tv in my bedroom. My only complaint is that only two of the four HDMI plugs are 2.1. You really do get what you pay for!

Beautiful picture and sound. Easy setup!
We've owned this TV for about a month now, and I can say I'm very impressed. The picture quality, depth of color, sound, all very good. I'm sure other reviews talk about that. I was very impressed with the ease of installation. I cut two or three plastic straps and the whole box just lifted off the base. Then you put down the feet, which clip into the base effortlessly, and put it where it's going to live. I turned it on, connected it to my WiFi, and Google TV did the rest. It sounds like I'm over simplifying it, but it literally was that easy. I've been enjoying it ever since.

It’s a Sony!
The first Sony Bravia had a a few glitches where the picture would just freeze and the color just didn’t seem right. Amazon customer service sent me a new TV. Thanks Amazon! I noted a different “ship from” on the 2nd one (just sayin). The second tv is a winner. Proud to once again be a Sony owner. The picture is wonderful within a narrow viewing band of 25 to 30 degrees at 10 feet but hazes out as you view to the side. My old LG was much better at side viewing but couldn’t hold a candle to that 25-30 of the Sony. Cons: Alexa use requires setup of Google which I decided to skip. Soundbar enhancements only work with a Sony soundbar (which I broke down & bought after poor results using my LG soundbar). For me, 3 remotes on this tv. (Firestick, Dish, Sony) My old LG, 2

Awesome quality picture and navigation!
Beautiful picture and tracking. The sound of the built-in speakers is better than most sets but i have a JBL 5.1 surround sound system that makes it perfect for watching movies and sports.

LIED TO
Wow! This is a shockingly bad TV. It is not intuitive, user-friendly, and form certainly doesn't follow function! First of all, the picture is just not that outstanding. It is simply hard to believe how difficult it is to get a clearly defined picture. You have to go through all kinds of adjustments and illogical nonsense for each input you're using? I even asked ChatGPT and other AI how to get a better picture and there was some improvement because Sony has all this extra garbage and it says to basically turn it all off and yep the picture did improve, but for the price I paid for this thing - ridiculous and still not that great. And, if you're gonna use Antenna TV, forget about it. All my old TVs the cheapest around picked up a signal better than this TV does. And it's quite a nonsensical, convoluted process just to adjust that stuff and it will never stay put. Somehow they've jumbled up the cable with Antenna and thereby, cancelling out the effectiveness of either. I have Auto programmed and re-Auto programmed, and reprogrammed......... Even the remote is just terrible. I've picked up $10 ones better than this 2000 something dollar TV. Somehow, it doesn't work with Google fiber to do streaming with some TV stations. That was changed in 2023 as well as other things that worked better before that year? Talk about one step forward and two backwards! Maybe I should say four or five steps backward. This was an ill conceived TV from the get-go apparently. I am RETURNING, despite the hassle that will be. And not to mention, Amazon did not do what they said they would do in delivering it and unboxing it and placing it somewhere.

Brightness and contrast is on point, but for the average viewer you you want noticed the difference
Very good TV but I needed to upgrade. Mid range TV one of the best. But if you want the real deal get the Bravia 9

Fantastic TV
This TV displays absolutely gorgeous images. When watching a movie, it feels like you’re right there. It’s a bit pricey but well worth the cost.

La Sony Bravia 5 es fantástica. La imagen se ve increíble: negros profundos, colores vivos y movimiento súper fluido. Con el PS5 y el anime se disfruta muchísimo. Una compra que vale totalmente la pena.

I ordered this TV after both my 77” OLEDs failed — my LG lasted only 3 years, and my Samsung barely made it 3 months. I’m done with OLED technology; it just doesn’t hold up. I decided to switch to this 75” Sony Mini LED, and I’m glad I did. I’ve owned Sony TVs before and they’ve always been reliable. The picture quality took a bit of adjustment at first — OLED and LED are very different. OLED definitely has the edge in pure picture quality, but this Mini LED still looks very good once properly tuned. After 6 days of use and some tweaking to the picture and sound settings for my room, I’m really happy with it. For more than half the price of an OLED, it delivers solid performance. The bonus of 5 free movie credits and 100 free movies on the Sony Core app is a nice extra. Great TV, fast delivery, and excellent packaging. I’m satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it.

Well delivered, two people big truck. Box was in good shape and the TV functions as it should. The product is still working well after daily use since a month! Love it!

Decided to buy this TV after watching multiple reviews as well based on some of the reviews here. Did not disappoint.
