Lamora Eyeshadow Brush Set - Soft Precision Blending Pro Eye Makeup Brushes

This is a solid brush set! I recently took an eye make-up class at Sephora and, of course, I immediately became obsessed with my eye makeup. The store provided us with a really nice brush set to use and a couple of the brushes really did make all of the difference when detailing and blending. Unfortunately all of the sets that I looked at were around $50 and I just didn’t want to drop that kind of money yet. In particular I was looking for an all-over brush, a blending brush, a crease brush and this small brush that we used for smudging. Almost none of the sets that I looked at included all of these together (and brushes are about $20/brush when purchasing individually). I was so happy when I found this brush set with everything I needed AND it had great reviews. I saw some people mentioned the packaging wasn’t impressive, but the packaging was my favorite part! They come in a plain box that you would probably throw away (I don’t know if people wanted a case?), but, as someone who works in marketing, I know that simple packing saves the consumer money so fine with me. Anyway, the best thing about the packaging is that the brushes are named on the back of the box and it explains what each brush is for. Remember, I am an eye makeup student so this meant the world to me, AND the brush names are also on the brush itself. I cut the explanations out of the box and I keep it with my eye makeup. The handles of the brushes are smooth (more of a matte finish than shiny, which is lovely) and long so I can hold on to it further back (I tend to be heavy handed and when my hand is too far up I really lay it on) and the brush itself is extremely soft, holds product well and, so far, they have handled cleaning great. The company of this product is also fantastic. They emailed me the day before I got my brushes asking if I received them and, if so, if I was happy with my purchase. I replied by replying to the actual email, then they emailed me back thanking me for my response and letting me know that they are happy that I am happy with the product. I will be buying others for gifts. Keep up the good work!

These brushes are fantastic! I used them 4 days in a row and they worked great and cleaned up nicely. There is a nice combination of soft & stiff brushes - the stiff brushes are great for packing on color. The soft ones are great for blending color exactly where I want it - I even got complimented on an ombre lid look I created with this set! The price is so reasonable - I would pay that for the angled shader alone, that is my favorite of these brushes! The only thing I might add is a fluffier/soft classic shader brush in addition to the stiff one included. Beyond that, pretty much everything you need for any eye look you can imagine is here! The brushes come packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube that would be handy for travel and has enough room for a few other brushes or eyeliners. The brushes themselves are beautiful - the handles are smooth and black with a slightly metallic finish, and the bristles are very soft. I love that they are synthetic! Some reviews noted a chemical smell - if I put the handle up to my nose and sniff, I can smell a bit, but most of it went away after washing. It is definitely not on the bristles, and I can't smell it at all when using the brushes. I would not hesitate to purchase more Lamora products in the future. If you're on the fence, go for it - the quality and price are unmatched.

So I bought this set back in mid-November and wanted to expand on my collection of brushes. Reviews have been nothing less than amazing from what I have read, and there weren't anything under a 3 star review so I purchased them. Before I leave a review, brushes I have used before includes MAC, Makeup Geek, SOHO (the worst I have tried), e.l.f., and Sonia Kashuk, some Stila, some Sephora brands, and misc I can't think off the top of my head. All were great brushes, Sonia, MAC and Makeup Geek being some of the top favs of mine currently. Here is my review on these Lamora brushes: They pick up colors really well, I haven't noticed much fallout. Even when I tap the brushes to get access pigments off, I have only seen little amounts of dusts fall from the head. The blender brush is great for blending out the pigments leaving a smoked out effect. I also have noticed that the pigments transfer from the brush to the skin really well. There hasn't been a lot of leftover shadow clinging onto the bristles when I wash them. The bristles on the blender brush is not as soft and fluffy as I would liked them to be but they are still effective. The flatter brushes are amazing. They are dense and can hold a lot of pigments, they are great at smudging out the gel liner without tugging on the lids but that also depends on the gel liner you are using. There is one brush I honestly don't know what to use with it, it's too thick to use for gel liner and it's too pointy to use to smudge and pick up colors to place on the lid...I tried using it for brows too but it just doesn't work for me...maybe concealer? Eh. Overall, these brushes are amazing for the price. I do recommend adding some of Lamora's brushes to your collection. Packaging could have been better though. It's been couple of weeks, and after washing, I have not seen it shed. If you do not want to spend the money for MAC or IT (OMG so fluffy and soft!!!) brushes, these brushes are the way to go.

I have ordered some different brush sets (looking for a good deal as my budget is very tight) and out of all of them, these are by far the best quality and value I have found! What I really needed are good eye makeup brushes that are soft and won't irritate my crazy sensitive skin. I wanted enough that I could just grab another clean brush while changing colors or blending, without having to take time to clean brushes between use. I want to be able to use clean brushes every time without having to wash them each night because I only had a few. Well, I noticed there were not many eye-brush-only sets to be found and most were poor quality. Then I found this set which has a nice selection at a quality that can't be beat, especially for the price. They look, feel and perform like top of the line brushes! First off, these do not smell, which is a huge issue for me, so right off the bat, I was relieved about that. Then I noticed how nice it was to have them securely separated in their box, instead of all loose in a cheap plastic bag and getting bent out of shape. Sure, the packaging is basic, but I don't need fancy looking wrapping that I'm just going to toss. All I care about is that they arrived securely packaged and in perfect shape, which they did (frankly, I'd rather have the money go into the brushes and not for fancy fluff). I would have liked some sort of brush roll or something to store them in, but that's hardly necessary and it might also keep the cost down. While looking for brushes to buy, I noticed many people asked if brushes in a set came labeled with their intended use. I did not see many that were, but these are clearly labeled on the wood handles, which is a nice touch. They are also very well made with none of the handles being loose or wonky; they handle beautifully; the ferrules are really well done and none of the brush hairs shed, even after being washed and test tugged. And speaking of the hairs...they're wonderfully soft, densely packed, perfectly shaped and wash up well. In fact, these have now spoiled me and I don't want to compromise and use the other eye brushes I have. I may just have to buy another set of these, but I hope Lamora comes out with more of these smaller type brushes. I really love the specific fiber they used and would like it used in other shapes. It's tough to find great quality smaller brushes that I can afford and it's so nice to be able to buy them as their own set without the larger face brushes. These are now the only eye brushes I would recommend, especially for the budget conscious. I never thought I'd be able to afford high quality makeup brushes until discovering Lamora. Now I need to save up to buy their other sets; I am hooked on Lamora!

This Eye Makeup Brush Set by Lamora Beauty came in on time and with out any damage. The packing that these brushes came in a slim cylinder tube, and it is nice and sturdy and it can be reused for several things like: store your brushes in them or use it to put your brushes in it for when you travel to keep them safe. It is really a nice cylinder tube. The brushes are made really well, I have washed them and I had no fall out with them. These brushes hold a lot of product and they apply very easy. I have no problems with them dragging and they are great at blending your eyeshadow. These brushes are super soft and they don't scratch your eyes. What you would use these brushes for are engraved on the handle of each brush. Here is how I use these brushes: Classic Shader - I apply shadow all over my lid as a base color. Angled Shader - I use this for my crease color. Small Shader - I apply eyeshadow on the lid of my eye when using three shades of color. Blending Brush - I blend all eyeshadow colors. Precise Shader - I use this to put a tiny amount of color in the inner corner of my eye and I use three different shades, depending on my main color used. (lite pink, white, or a lite cream). This will help brighten your eye. Detailed Pencil - I love this brush, I use it to apply eyeshadow under my eye, with the tip of this brush it gets in really good under your lashes. Angled Detailer - I use this for my eye brows. You will not go wrong if you buy this set, I love them, and you will to. These brushes are now my go to for applying my eye shadow. I love this brushes!

I'm new to makeup, not because I'm a young person who hasn't had the opportunity to use it, but because I only discovered how fun it is in the last few months. I purchased these brushes to add to my growing collection so that I could get a better application of my eye shadows, and I didn't have a lot of hope for them due to the low price. High quality brushes are generally high in price as well (as one might expect), but I had a limited budget. Trusting the reviews I read on Amazon (the good and the bad), these are the brushes I chose. Each brush is individually plastic-wrapped and inserted into a tube-shaped (cylindrical) black box. The box is convenient for storage and quite attractive in its own right. The brushes I received were each unique (no dupes) with a black handle and synthetic bristles. Brush names are printed in a silver color on the handles of the brushes, which was convenient for me as somebody who is new to using makeup and makeup brushes. (This may be one of my favorite things about these brushes to be honest with you!). Brushes themselves are soft and made of synthetic material. I've read reviews on these and some buyers reported that the brushes didn't hold pigment, but I didn't have that issue with them. They hold the pigment and transfer it well to the skin. The brushes are also soft on the lid. No hairs have shed from the brushes. When I wash them, they dry quickly (very quickly!), which is convenient. For my first eye brushes, these have been excellent, and I'm glad that they were the set that I chose to purchase. If you're looking for a less expensive option, I recommend these brushes!

What a terrific value! This eye brush set either met or exceeded my expectations. They are each of great quality, feel good in your hand and easy to use and clean. I have a plethora of makeup brushes, from every price point one could imagine - some low and most high-end, and I have to say these come in as a solid set of brushes you can use with purpose whether you are a beginner or more advanced in your makeup routine. I think most will find it helpful that each brush has stamped on it the type of brush it is. I washed them after opening; they washed terrifically - the fibers felt soft, the metal didn’t come loose from the wooden handle (like so many do) and there has not been any shedding! This set will allow you to do most anything you are trying to do with your eyes, whether you want to lay shadow down, perform a crease cut, creating any sort of winged or regular line and/or eyebrows. The bleeding brush included diffuses color nicely. It is on the fluffier side, so it can be doubled as a highlighter brush as well. They all pick up color easily without fallout. The only thing one may still need to complete your eye look is a firm blending brush.

Better than I thought. Very soft and helps powder eyeshadow glide on.

These make up brushes are soft and great. They are easy to use and would recommend to anyone ad a starter set. I don't use a lot of product so this was enough for me.
