Sony ULT Field 3 Wireless Bluetooth Portable Waterproof Speaker, Black

A good speaker with a mode that boosts the bass. The battery is good can go days without needing to be charged. It is compact for easy traveling with it. It is light weight and comes with an attachable shoulder strap for carrying it hands free. For the price it's a great speaker with a lot of useful features and a built in mic for calls or voice assistant.

The sound on the speaker is absolutely amazing. The app for the speaker however needs a lot of work. The sound was so good I immediately bought a second one the day I got the first one so that I could utilize the "party connect" feature which allows you to connect up to 100 of these. The instructions on how to do it are as clear as mud. I've been able to get the speakers to connect two times, every time you turn on the speaker if you're going to connect a second speaker you have to go through the process each time. It took me about 25 minutes the first time in about 18 minutes the second time. The key is to only connect one speaker to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth, then hit the connect button on the first speaker, then turn on the second speaker without connecting it to Bluetooth hit the connect button on the second speaker. I had to go through the process several times including deleting the app removing the connection from my iPad and starting over. If you're only going to get one of these speakers I can tell you it's absolutely worth it the sound is amazing especially for its size. I bought this for when I travel with my iPad to have better sound quality playing movies and it does not disappoint. It gets about 12 hours of battery time if you're using the sound enhancing ULT, otherwise you can get up to 25 hours which is not even advertised for the device if you turn off ULT, I will say though the sound quality drops dramatically by turning off ULT. The build quality seems really nice, it feels like a solid piece of equipment that won't fall apart in your hands. The only complaint I have is the connection of multiple speakers.

You get what you pay for & it is worth it to upgrade to Sony if considering buying something cheaper, the quality is unparalleled at this price point. I use my ULT 3 so much that when I needed something punchier for work I opted for the ULT FIELD 5 & it did not disappoint. The coolest part is they can pair up together, I may invest in an even larger SONY speaker again next.

Sony is always best for me . I have an outdoor projection theater by my pool . I put 6 ult speakers for it . Plus of course for music at pool . Does great . I also have other ult 9 but unfortunately they don’t connect to my ult 3 or I just can’t figure it out but it’s still amazing. Neighbors 3 acres. Away can hear my music . Just perfect for me .

Too expensive for the price, you can find better options in other stores, connectivity it’s pretty good, audio quality pretty outstanding, the volume on the other hand not too loud.

It’s amazing and the battery lasts more than 6 hours

For every soul out there, there is a need for things to work to your satisfaction. Take Bluetooth speakers. Some folks just need some noise. Get a speaker turn it on, pair it with your phone. Lovely MONO fidelity. NO. I exclusively need a sound 'platform' that is to my satisfaction when I travel away from my home setup. I need *stereo* audio. I need to setup a pair of stereo speakers on the outdoor deck 20 feet apart at the cabin deep in the remotest part of the rural countryside. And listen to Aaron Copland in full stereo. Or Bartok. Or Stravinsky. Or anything, so long as it is in stereo. Using my phone OR my laptop. For years I had been struggling and cursing JBL for their lousy bluetooth software app. Enter Sony and the ULT Field 3. It's evident that Sony has the sense of what their target demographics: 1. A simple single speaker noise maker. or 2. that small number of folks who actually listen to the music they consume. And want to hear that stereo sound stage. Anywhere. You would think JBL would be in a similar vein, yet they seem to be going for the lowest common denominator. A mono boombox.Facts:1. These speakers pair in STEREO without *any* app needed. Obviously this does require buying two of them.2. The speakers pair in stereo with your phone OR your laptop/bluetooth computer. That is unheard of [at least to me]3. The setup is so simple: pair one, then pair the other.4. press the "stereo pair" button on each and you are done.5. The setting persist through power cycles.6. To switch from your phone to computer or vice versa is just the routine of 'forgetting' the device on one and connecting the other.To be able to setup a laptop with a VPN connection to my home network and be able to play any of my 30,000+ digital albums in the middle of nowhere is magical. And with barely any heavy lifting in terms of complexity.I'm so satisfied with these speakers, I'm now looking for the barest excuse to travel. Recommended.

They sound great and have good bass. Easy to pair and setup in stereo with two of them. Only thing is when in stereo you don't have the high quality codec of LDAC. Still great though.

Build quality is good, battery life is excellent, I bought it for just under 10k with card discount so value for money. Sound and performance is very good. It has custom eq in sony app so you can change as per the need,ULT button which gives you powerful bass.

One of my favourite speakers. It sounds incredible outdoors. The bass really punches outside, unlike any other speaker I’ve heard. You can still hear all the instruments too. Pleasantly surprised with this one. It’s ok indoors too but it really shines outdoors.

This is a small size with bigger power speaker. It delivers more than I expected from this portable speaker, performance is simply great. Easy to carry anywhere. Battery last for 20 hours and sufficient for couple of days usage
