A 55 Micro Farad cap will most likely run fine in your unit.. Capacitors work like batteries on start-up of the motor where extra electrical energy assists the unit in overcoming the latency of the motor to start. Capacitors charge at different times depending on capacity. Typically it uses 5 time constants for a capacitor to charge and discharge. All this means that a small cap will charge faster than a large one but means little to the user if they are not using it as some part of a timing circuit. If your your system issue is the compressor does not start once called and the fan does the you have a capacitor problem. Validate the capacitance in your system; 45uf for the compressor and 5uf for the fan then this product will work. The strap and connector is standard.
