UPDATE: After my last review l needed more glue. The size l needed was not available with this brand when l needed it due to needing non rainy days. This was a trial and error approach but since I've ordered several brands which all seem about the same. Now the sprayers bought one was this brand one was Walmart. The one from Walmart worked better. We decided to try the battery operated sprayer. OH MY GOSH WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE. NOT JUST THE RELIEF FROM PUMPING ARM PAIN BUT THE ELECT WAS SO MUCH BETTER AT COVERING. NOTE: The Customer service for this mulch glue was outstanding. Due to the cost and the amount I knew we were going to have to use I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right. I called the company and the lady that spoke with me answered any questions she could, and the ones she was not sure about she asked one of the specialists. I saw so many reviews, one said it was great then the next would say it did not work at all. Well, we live in Ohio so trying to get 48 hours without rain was a challenge. We put it on in temps in the high 80s lots of sun. We used the rock glue on black mulch because of a review I had watched. I mixed it in a five gallon bucket. 2 parts water to 1 part glue. I shook the glue very well and there were not clumps as seen in other reviews. My husband laid the mulch and by the time I was done spraying that area the next bag he had laid down was dry so I could immediately spray the glue. Now when I say spray I use that term very loosely. I bought their sprayer and no matter what l did it would just dribble out. I made sure there were no clogs so for the rest of it we decided to buy a big watering can so it will cover a wider area. I went out this afternoon after it had rained pretty hard and I was so excited that it works! We put down 76+ bags of black mulch so I do wish the glue was not as expensive as it is. Remember though for every gallon of glue after mixing you are getting 3gallons of the mixed product. The main reason we got the glue was due to an area at the front of our yard that is a hill and the only option left was to kill all grass and weeds and just do mulch. I did put it on heavier at the bottom foot of the hill to create a better barrier due to how steep part of it is. Over all I'm pleased with this item just not the sprayer.

Good coverage and firm at the start. Over time with weather elements, breaks down & eventually no hold on top. Rocks then scatter everywhere. Definitely would have to continually receiving apply over and over every few months.

This turned a pretty solid outdoor walking path into focal point. We had large pavers with small gravel to fill in between over sand. With how much foilage we get in the backyard we didn't want the gravel spreading far while we use our leaf blower. Once the glue dries it made the rocks look more permanently wet with much more color. I like it so much I will buy some more and spray some bigger river rock less for the hold and more for the color. It's two months of rain and leaf blowing and they stick together really well. Obviously as I walk on it some parts become unstuck. I may need to spray again in two years

I went with pea gravel and it worked very well. I mixed most of it with water, and I used some of it undiluted to create a small area where I don't want water to build up. I sprayed it on generously and thoroughly and it created surface that is firm enough to walk on. Before I used the Rock Glue, I was having trouble with grass clippings getting stuck in the rocks. Now that I have the Rock Glue applied, the grass clippings easily blow off with a leaf blower. Also the company was very friendly to work with. See the attached video that shows me walking on it,
