A favorite of critics and audiences alike, The Office is a hilarious documentary-style look at the humorous and sometimes poignant foolishness that plagues the 9-to-5 world. Relive every one of your favorite moments, including Michael's (Steve Carell) infamous encounter with a breakfast grill, Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) power plays, Jim's (John Krasinksi) pranks, Andy's (Ed Helms) struggles with anger management, and of course, Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim's evolving romance. Developed for American television by Primetime Emmy Award winner Greg Daniels, The Office: The Complete Series includes all 201 episodes on 38 discs, plus bonus commentaries, webisodes, blooper reels and over 15 hours of deleted scenes that are guaranteed to leave you satisfied and smiling. That's what she said! Review: One of the best sitcoms ever - The Office was, especially during the Steve Carell years, one of the best sitcoms to ever air. Chances are most people looking to get this already know what the series is like so I will not spend a ton of time reviewing the show itself. In a nutshell, it is a sitcom that follows the day-to-day operations of the Scranton PA office of the Dunder-Mifflin paper company headed by Michael Scott (Carell), the manager of the Scranton branch. It is a Mockumentary in which the various characters are "interviewed" although we never see an interviewer, so they are essentially just talking to a camera. It is a very character-driven show and the plots were a mix of self-contained stories and then arcs, usually dealing with various character relationships. It ran for nine seasons (although season one was very short, just six episodes) and was adapted from a British show of the same name that starred Ricky Gervais and Martin Freeman. The first season mirrors the BBC version sometimes slightly and sometimes a lot, and then after that really becomes its own thing. This DVD set is just the individual season sets packaged together. So, if you purchased the seasons separately you are not getting anything different aside from a box to hold all the individual season cases. All of the extras (and there are a lot of them) are exactly the same, and nothing (at least in the DVD version) was added. I cannot say what they did with the Blu-Ray complete series set, although from what I have read it has the same extras as the DVD set. The extras include audio commentaries on many of the episodes which rotate various members of the cast. There are many commentary tracks in the early seasons and fewer as the seasons go on. Then there are a ton of deleted scenes (the best of which involve Creed and "Schrute Bucks", blooper reels, webisodes, promo material, and more. Basically, if you love watching bonus content, there are hours worth (apart from the commentary tracks) to keep you busy. Overall, the series is very good. Like many shows that last nine seasons, it was not as good at the end as it was in the beginning, especially after Steve Carell left. It had a large ensemble cast that included Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, Mindy Kaling, John Krasinski (who, other than Carell, has probably had the biggest post-office career), and Craig Robinson. There are also a ton of very recognizable comedy actors and actresses that appeared in the series in both large and small roles. The show definitely lives up to the hype, and even though the last couple of seasons are not as good as the early seasons, they are not as bad as some people make them out to be. So, if you are a fan of the show, this is a great pickup. Review: Review based on DISC QUALITY - It's the OFFICE! GREAT SHOW! However, the discs are left to be questioned. Discs are not scratched. However discs skip terribly. The Office discs that skip Season 1 disc 1 Season 2 disc 1 Season 3 disc 1 Skips terribly bad, missed the last 10 minutes in total from one episode. Missed the first 10 minutes from another episode right in the beginning. Season 3 Disc 3 just started playing without giving me the option of the main menu. Skips horribly and the picture is completely unseeable and the audio in inaudible. At first it wouldn’t play at all. Has A LOT of static. Disc is clean and there is nothing wrong with it using the naked eye. Disc takes super long to do a SIMPLE task, like rewind, fast forward, or god forbid you have to go back to the main menu. It just completely freezes and stops working all together and stays on the frozen screen. Disc is unresponsive for a few minutes and is VERY LOUD in my dvd player. After a couple tries, the disc finally behaved and started playing the intro like it was supposed to from the very beginning. But the disc itself is still kind of loud in my DVD player. Season 5 Disc 4 skips starting at the second episode, disc got noisy as well. Season 7 Disc 2 skips up until the christening. Season 7 Disc 4 skips multiple times through “the Search” episode, misses key parts of the episode, at least 10 minutes. Season 7 Disc 5 doesn’t skip but plays the same episode twice, every episode due to the “extended directors cut”. Time waster. Not a fan of the directors cut that plays directly after the original episode in “play all” mode. Season 8 Disc 3 skips first episode Season 8 Disc 4 Skips for the first FULL 5 minutes of the FIRST episode. Season 8 Disc 4 Skips in the second episode as well for 5 minutes when Andy is in Florida bringing Erin back. Season 8 Disc 4, the 3rd episode literally just got stuck playing. Right at the beginning. I feel like I missed half the episode because it got stuck before it finally started playing. The entire intro was skipped until Nellie was docking Andy’s pay. Season 9 Disc 1 skips Season 9 Disc 4 skips randomly during the last episode of the disc towards the end. Season 9 Disc 5 skips the whole intro until Angela is dressing Philip in Oscar’s apartment. Update: I’ve changed my star review based on it’s not the discs that skip. It was the fault of my dvd player. Long story short I bought a dvd player off desertcart, the office dvds were the first ones to skip, initially I thought it was the dvds. Anyone would. Found out my dvd player was defective since it started skipping other dvds it had never skipped before.

Great price, and in perfect shape!
It's taken me a few days, but I finally got through my boxed DVD set of The Office. Maybe I got lucky, but all my CDs were intact, play great, and the bloopers are even funnier than what was broadcast! I can understand why they got cut though...Michael Scott was a real jerk, especially in earlier seasons. The box and DVD holders were in perfect shape, with zero broken parts. And the menu system works just fine...I don't know why anyone would have a problem navigating it. For forty bucks, this is a no-brainer for fans of the show...five stars!

Bears. Beets. Best Purchase.
As an avid The Office viewer, I bought the DVD set so I could finally watch the show the way God (and Dwight Schrute) intended—with no buffering, no ads, and no judgment from Netflix for rewatching it for the 47th time.

Physical > Digital. Worth every penny!
When I watched The Office for the very first time in the summer of 2016 I was immediately hooked. While I was bringing the series, I went on a trip to LA and I remember one of the reasons I couldn't wait to get back home was so that I could continue watching it! Like most, I was saddened to hear it was being taken off of Netflix (even though Netflix fought to keep "Friends", a far inferior sitcom, but I digress... Lol) so, I knew it was far past time to finally add it to my growing Blu-ray collection. Conveniently, this box set was just released not too long ago! So I didn't hesitate to purchase it (especially since it might be In high demand due to the show being taken off of Netflix) It arrived quickly and I was not disappointed! This is all a superfan of The Office could ever ask for! ALL the episodes in glorious HD, along with extended episodes, episode commentaries, deleted scenes, bloopers, webisodes, original cast audition tapes, a Dwight Schrute music video(?!) and much more!! Beyond just the crazy amount of content that's included, I love the packaging and how each individual Blu-ray is unique and detailed, with descriptions and fun little Office related imagery to go along with them! I also appreciate them listing what's exactly on each disc on the insides of the covers. Each case contains 4 discs. Except Season 1 that only contains 1 disc, and Season 8 which contains a whopping 5 discs! And as you can see from the images attached, mine arrived in near perfect condition! The only noticable damage is that little arrow that snapped off at some point, but it's not a big deal because I can still secure that disc to the case. In conclusion: I absolutely love this Blu-ray set, and if you're a superfan of The Office like me, I know you will, too! If you know you'll continue to watch through this show several times in your life, buy this! You won't regret it, I promise.

The office in best quality you will find with good packaging.
Great show and good packaging, this is not one of those sets which contains big chubby cases with 10+ discs inside. Each season has its own case with 3-5 discs, Season 1 has only 1 disc. -1 star because i had some loose discs inside few cases due to small broken plastics. I dunno if it's either because of poor QC or international shipping damage. Nevertheless I have checked first 4 seasons yet and all discs play fine flawlessly and video/audio quality is good, much better that you get from streaming so i can overlook minor damage to packaging. Overall, a great product.
