This review is for the Roborock QV3a. After hearing my brother-in-law rave about his robot vacuum, I hesitantly bought this. I was hesitant because I had purchased one many years before, and it had been virtually useless. It only vacuumed, was loud with minimal suction, banging its way around and it constantly got clogged with debris and eventually ended up at Goodwill. This vacuum does a wonderful job both vacuuming and mopping, competing with models that cost three times as much. After creating four different maps, the first map, map with the 1st floor family room, kitchen and dining room room all on one level, I segregated an area of the kitchen that gets very dirty after cooking, to allow me to do a daily vacuuming and mopping of this area. The second map included a living room off of our raised entry hall. The third map included the raised tiled entry hall. The fourth map included the second level of the house, including three bedrooms and a large balcony.We have biweekly housekeeping, so most of yhe areas of the house, including a carpeted living room, tile entry hall, living room, 4 bedrooms and balcony, only require vacuuming as needed, often once in the week we don’t have housekeeping. After completing a cleaning of the whole house I was very impressed. It thoroughly cleaned including under furniture picking up an amazing amount of dust bunnies. Our regular vacuum did not fit under dressers, couch, couches, etc. Mopping the tile areas resulted in very clean floors. I did established some no go areas to keep the vacuum from hitting areas with a large number of cords. I also created no go areas under the beds and a couple dressers. Avoiding these areas, greatly speeds up the cleaning process. It is easy to establish no go areas. I can delete them a couple times a year to clean under furniture. I also put up an invisible line on the railing in our balcony, the robot did not see this as a wall, and it would feel its way along the railing, greatly slowing the cleaning process. The robot does seems to learn each time it cleans finding a more efficient way to clean. I also found that moving the chairs away from the dining room table slightly allowed the robot to clean under the table much faster. Our family room has a very large area rug in it with hardwood floors throughout. The robot was able to identify the rug area, mopping/vacuuming hardwood floors and vacuuming the area rug. The app is very intuitive easily allowing the establishment of no goes zones or invisible walls. To clean, simply restore the map for the area you want to clean, select the area you want to clean, and choose your cleaning mode of mopping, vacuuming, or both. It is very simple to use. When done the robot empties the dirty water, cleans the mopping pads, and empties the dust bin. I am very happy with my purchase. For anyone that wants to purchase a cleaning robot without spending $1000 or more, this is an excellent choice.

We have been using this for about 6 months now and I am very pleased with it. The value versus some competitors is notable. Setup us was pretty easy. It takes a bit of getting used to the software/app to set up rooms and hazard areas, but, once you've got it down, it really works well! I have mine programmed to run every day of the week except Sunday's. It vacuums every day and mops every other day. My house is clean all the time (We have 5 dogs)! It lets you know when to refill the tank (about every two weeks depending on programmed water flow), and the refill bags are cheap if you buy aftermarket ones! It navigates obstacles well and maps the area with incredible accuracy. If it encounters obstacles repeatedly it seemingly marks the area as a hazard on its own and avoids it. Kind of cool! You can't go wrong with this one!

Hands down, this Roborock the absolute BEST vacuum and mop I've ever owned. It's so quiet that it it can sometimes sneak up on you!! Does a great job of vacuuming and moping, and my floors are always clean - even with two dogs. I love that it uses bags to collect the dirt it vacuums, as emptying the dust bins have always been so messy. Over the last ten years, this is my third robot vacuum, and my first one that mops. It does a great job of maping and there are several adjustments you can make to your liking. The lasers do a great job of not running into furniture and baseboards. I have some repainting to do on my baseboards and repairs to the chipped corners from my last robot vacuum that literally crashed into everything! I have been completely pleased with this Roborock! Do yourself a favor and get youself one of these!

I previously owned cheaper robot vacuums from Loorow and Eufy. They were decent for the price, but between my dog’s hair and my girlfriend’s long hair, they were constantly getting tangled. I was cleaning rollers more than the floors. The dust bins were also small and filled up fast, especially with all the dog hair around the house. I barely even used the mop feature because it felt like more effort than it was worth. The Roborock Qrevo Series is a completely different experience. The automatic mop washing and refill system actually makes me use the mop daily. It keeps the floors looking clean and shiny without me having to think about it. The self emptying dust bin handles heavy shedding way better than my old units ever could. The wheels and roller brush don’t constantly tangle, which alone feels like a major quality of life upgrade. It also navigates better and doesn’t get stuck on cables nearly as often. If you have pets, long hair in the house, or just want something that actually feels automated, this is worth it. Night and day difference compared to the budget models I used before.

I just want to preface this by reminding any would be buyers that this is not a throw it in a room after a frat party cleaning machine! This is a maintenance machine. It will sweep up some dirt and hair and keep your floors clean but its a maintenance machine. Keep your cleaning hopes and wishes realistic. That said, its the best one (of 3) that I've ever had. Great mapping, great obstacle avoidance. Effortlessly navigates throughout the house without brushing on your wood services so it won't scrape up the furniture. Its almost like magic how it manages to float close to your walls and furniture without actually rubbing on it. You will need to clean up any major mud or hair before hand. Seems to be able to clean about 1000 square feet of dirty floor at a time before the onboard dust bin fills up but thats really pushing it with pretty dirty floors and carpets. It automatically empties dust bin and cleans mops when it deems it necessary or it finishes its run whichever comes first. Easily navigates up and over thresholds, floor vents, and other bumps and lumps. Haven't gotten it stuck once. It doesn't just bump around like an old game of pong either. It maps out your house with a sweat of sensors and plans an efficient route. I can attest that it can and does easily differentiate between carpet and mop surfaces. Does a great job not mopping your carpet 😅 it will even avoid your feet and your pets and any socks or dog poo that might end up in the path. Fairly painless set up too. Battery seems to last pretty well. I have a fairly small space. Under 1000 square feet of area that I give it access to and it never goes below 30%. The only negative thing I really have to say is it could pick up a little better. I dont know that its really a problem with the model so much as an inherent limitation of an automated, low power unit. None I've had have really done better but you will still get debris around transitions and a little here and there on the carpets. All and all, well worth the money and will 100% make your life easier.

I ordered this as a replacement to further assist my busy schedule and inability to sweep/mop every day. I have dogs, which leaves hair and messes everywhere on my floors. I cannot tell you how in love I am with this unit. It transitions perfectly from laminate floors to carpet, while lifting the mops when hitting the carpet. The battery life is perfect for my 1600 square foot ranch home. I can have the entire house “intensely” swept and mopped in just under an hour. It has never once gotten stuck anywhere to include cords/power strips under furniture. The mapping of the house worked perfectly and it automatically stays out of the one area that I chose for it to not enter. Seems quite durable and in the month I’ve had it, I’ve only had to empty the water reservoir once. I still haven’t had to empty the vacuum collection and I’ve used this probably 25 out of 30 days. I purchased during the Black Friday week at a discounted price of $340, but would definitely pay full price for how well it works and the time it saves me! The app is easy to set up and easy to use. I love that I can schedule daily cleans and control whether I wasn’t just sweeping (vacuuming) or mopping or both. It’s is super quiet and you can watch tv while its working. It’s also super convenient and easy to go in and set it to go clean wherever you want or your entire space on a whim. I haven’t touched my Dyson or my steam mop since setting the Roborock up. And so am a clean freak! I do have an elderly mastiff that suffers from cancer and is a big drooler. With that said, he leaves disgusting thick drool everywhere. A few of these dried on drool spots don’t get completely washed away with the mop. But this is a non typical situation and I’m happy to clean up a couple small spots when the rest of the floors are clean and I didn’t have to do it! I also really love that it cleans the entire perimeter of the house first and then goes back and does even consistent sweeps back and forth of the rest of the space. The older Eufy seemed to go in random directions which made me feel it missed a lot of area. That is not the case or an issue with the Roborock! Definitely worth the price and I’d buy it over and over again. You won’t be disappointed!

I love this thing! It is the first robo-vac I have ever had, and I have only had it here for about 2 weeks, so I am not an expert. I have run it every day since it arrived, and it does a good job. I have 2 cats, a dog, and a messy human in the house. I just needed something to help me keep up with all of them and so far this is it! It was easy to set up (Spectrum has a button in the app for switching WiFi bands), mapped my house, avoids my many creatures, and does so much without needing my input. As far as it is concerned, I'm here to give it mop water and keep it's emptying chambers clear so it can do its thing. I just removed an obstacle from its path today, and it already knew to clean where the obstacle had been since it arrived. The app is pretty simple to use, although some of the options aren't necessarily where you would expect. One of my cats is quite skittish, and he was immediately watching the lil robot go around the house instead of hiding from it. Yes, it could do a better job on the carpets. A lil more deep cleaning would be nice. For the price and lack of needing my input, I am very happy. Refilling and emptying the necessary bits are easy. Managing cleaning on the app is easy. It returns to the dock when it needs to refill or empty itself, and to recharge. It even cleans and dries its mopheads. My house is about 1000 sq ft, and it only runs through about 30% of its power with max cleaning settings on.

This robot vacuum is awesome. I've not used the mopping feature yet, so I can't rate that aspect. The app was easy to set up and use. Noise level is so quiet you forget it's working. The ability to follow where it is on the app is helpful. It does a great job of cleaning the floors. I am impressed. The only thing I wish I had done was order the floor cleaner liquid at the time of purchase, as it does not come with any. I also wish it did not have to use bags that need replacing, leaving me hopeful they will always be available in the years to come. I wish it were not so expensive, but I think it will be worth the money if it lasts several years, as it should.
