It is not cold pressed. They use a different process to extract the oil.

Can you cook eggs, chicken and meat with grapeseed oil? Also can you use it everyday or not everyday? Thanks!

Indeed you can. It's a wonderful oil thatbI had never used before my 1st purchase earlier N this year. Its excellent in every way. I still used olive oil. But this grapeseed oil is my go to. I have used it for baking, frying, deep frying and Grilling!!!! I hope this helps. No regrets , I even feel better since changing, plus my stomach lining has healed itself!!!No More Heartburn. I Cook everyday, and feed a family 4 days a week and that doubles every weekend when our other Grands come over. No complaints from anyone. I really like the way it dosent burn up and smoke up the house. Btw, I 1st bought this to cook a Spicy Fried Chicken Recipe!!!

Why is it twice as expensive as in store?!?!?

This is a 68 oz or 1/2 gallon bottle. If you paid $7.99 for 24 oz at the local grocery, then at that store it would cost approximately $22-$24 for this 68 oz bottle. Amazon is selling it for much less.
