OLIGHT I1R 2 Pro Eos Keychain Flashlight EDC Pocket Light (Silver-Flow)

I’ve been using this flashlight for several weeks now, I purchased it specifically for its size, as l keep it on a key ring. My apartment community has our mailboxes outdoors, in an unlit area. When I get home it is usually well after sunset, and this flashlight has a very bright lamp. The size is just right, not bulky in my pocket at all. The finish is instantly noticeable, much more refined than I expected. It does not require special batteries, instead, it is rechargeable with the usb port (cable included). It twists on and off, no buttons. So far, battery life is a non-issue. I would certainly recommend this light. Size is perfect, light is very bright, and it is light weight. A very useful flashlight.

Mighty tiny flashlight. For years I never trusted the rechargeable flashlight due to juice ran out suddenly when I need most, but this pocket flashlight is bright, quick recharge, last a while, not bulky, light and stay with my keychain. I use often when I need it.

I have been using this light for several months now - long enough to have an opinion. I find it to be a very useful tool, especially since it’s on my key ring and my keys are always with me. It’s easy to use. Seems to charge reasonably quickly. It’s competitively priced. Two leaves of brightness are adequate. I usually use the low beam because I am using lighting up something close to evaluate or work. The bright light is makes a decent flashlight for use outdoors or in larger spaces. How many much do I like it? Enough to get one for my wife. I do recommend this light.

Reasonably well made, lightweight, simple to operate, and generally a handy little addition to my carabiner. I appreciate the type C charging port rather than Olight's usual tendencies to opt for their own proprietary cables, so that saves me some trouble trying to keep track of specific cables for it. The light is pretty bright given it's incredibly small size, and in my opinion will be all the light the vast majority of folks will ever need for their daily needs. Only downside for me is that the finish on mine has already started to look like I took it to Baghdad and back when I've only had it for around a month and only use it very sparingly. May have just gotten one with a dud finish since my other Olights don't tend to show near as much wear. Other than that cosmetic nitpick, it's not at all a bad pick for a $20 light. Still a very solid choice for this price range, and a far superior upgrade from your cell phone's light that barely illuminates anything by comparison.

My review of "OLIGHT I1R 2 Pro Eos Keychain Flashlight EDC Pocket Light (Black) " I bought this light because I wanted a small light to carry on my keychain. This light is charged via USB-C. The twist-on switch is easy to operate, and it has two brightness settings. The charge last very long and I has not failed me when I needed it. It does not get hot when charging. Any block charger used for phones will work as long as it has a USB-C connector. I hang it on my keychain, and it does not get in my way. I can recommend this light.

I always like having a keychain EDC light on me vs a penlight style. I usually use the light on my phone, but I just like to have a small backup. I have been using the Streamlight Nanolight for several years. I really like the light and its size, but the output is a little anemic in some situations. The i1R2 is just a little bit bigger than the Nano but the light output is much more powerful. I like that the light has a 2 stage brightness levels without having to program a switch. Tighten the lens slightly and the low power light comes on. Tighten it a little further and the light goes to the high power mode. Very intuitive and it works the way you would expect it to. The twist style feature is the same as the Nano and I was concerned about both turning on in my pocket, but that has never been an issue. The construction of the OLight is top notch as all of their products have been. It's case is aluminum, nicely knurled, and black anodized. I really like the usb-c charging port. I always have a charger around and it's nice not having to worry about batteries. Unscrewing the lens end reveals the charging port. There is a light spring that opens it fully once it is unthreaded a few turns. The lens does not unscrew completely, but remains captive which is nice. There is also the requisite "O"-ring for twist resistance and keeps the electronics free of moisture. The threads grab easily when closing up the charging port and do not feel as though they could be stripped out. There is a small key ring on the tailpiece to attach to my keychain or it could be used with a lanyard. I just started using the light so I can not say what the durability and longevity are, but Olight products have a reputation for quality so I am not too concerned. You can never have too many flashlight! This one is very nice, give it a try.
