I initially bought Amazon's Solimo Ground Coffee with the mindset of a sceptic, half-expecting the quality to be subpar at best. My expectations were not high - I mean, how good could an economy-priced coffee be, right? However, much to my delight, this humble blend did more than just hit the mark, it pleasantly shattered my initial presumptions. From the moment I opened the first bag, I was greeted by a rich, inviting aroma that teased a promising brew. After tasting it, I found that the flavour profile was wonderfully balanced and enjoyable. It held a gentle medley of mild notes, none too overpowering but just enough to create a satisfying blend that appealed to my coffee palate. But it wasn't just me who was won over by this brew - it was put to the ultimate test when served to a cross-section of my family. A daunting task indeed, considering the varied coffee preferences within our clan. To my pleasant surprise, the Solimo Ground Coffee won unanimous approval. Each family member, from the discerning connoisseur to the casual sipper, appreciated its taste and quality, further attesting to its universal appeal. What also stood out for me was the thoughtful packaging. We have 2 pots of coffee every morning so finding a decent coffee that does not break the bank is essential. Good price and slightly cheaper in comparison to the Italian blend I usually purchase from the supermarket who seem to struggle supplying the better priced larger sized bags. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour as it was more robust than anticipated. Strength accurate as advertised and has a lovely mellow aroma. I prefer my coffee black as it comes and this left no bitter aftertaste, hubby has his with skimmed milk and sweetener and also enjoyed the flavour. We make it in a coffee maker and no grainy bits floating in the pot when brewed. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely buy again.

A great everyday easy to use medium ground coffee. We're using in both our cafetiere and filter coffee machine - and we enjoy both ways equally, so quite practical. I like the smooth and not too bitter or strong taste, but still gives me a much needed kick in the morning. Good aroma. Comes in a foil sealed bag with long shelf life. Good value for the quality.

I am by no means a coffee connoisseur, but the taste of this coffee for the price is extremely good, considering the fact that I have paid much more for coffee that tastes just as good (and sometimes much worse). I buy this for work, and young people in a London design office have extremely high coffee standards, with barista coffee shops every two yards, and this satisfies even the most exacting of their standards, so it is a clear winner.

It's 6 bags for a tenner. I wasn't expecting local, fine Columbian coffee hand made and brought down the mountain by an alpaca. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, however I hate bitter coffee and the more ground blends I try the fussier I'm getting! In comparison to Amazons Intenso, in the dark blue packs on here....it's about the same price. This doesn't smell that great. Isn't as fresh. Looks awful. Total unremarkable, nothing bad. Just plain, slightly bitter. Not strong just an after taste kinda. I suggest and recommend 'Amazon's Intenso'. I tried these because I needed a light blend for my Cold Brewer. That takes out all the acidity. To be honest it made a great cold latte and Mocha. It's just when I use it in my filter that it's not great. It's good 6 for £10 but there's the Intenso for the same. You get 4 bags for a tenner for that. If you really don't mind about smooth coffee or have been used to a very much more expensive coffee. Then I wouldn't recommend this Medium blend, medium ground coffee. You might be disappointed. The Amazon Intenso really isn't much stronger than this and it's way fresher. I hope this helps. I’ve been having this coffee for years. I use a caffeteire. It is the perfect blend, not too strong tasting.

Bought for pensioners coffee morning, great value, they thought it was a little bitter. I will be trying the Amazon Columbian as my next purchase

Caffè molto buono, per chi ama il caffè americano. Non ha retrogusto, si adatta benissimo sia alla caffettiera manuale americana che a quella elettrica americana.

Lo cierto es que pedí éste café con un poco de recelo, cuando vi como viene empaquetado y como se conserva su aroma y sabor quedé sorprendida pues el sabor es muy bueno. Si continúa a este precio repetiré la compra.
