What size pot would it need full sized?

Hydrangeas are better off in the ground, they can get six to eight feet tall and wide, and live up to 40 years, if they're happy. However, this is a tiny plant or 'plug' so it could stay in the one gallon size until next spring when, if it's grown well, you could repot into a three or five gallon container and then repot every spring to a larger container as needed, eventually you would need a very large pot. Don't let it dry out. However, Google and you can find bigger plants for less money elsewhere online.
