SAW - Xbox 360

This a really cool game! It's more of a fan game though. If you really like the saw movies, then this is the game for you. It's nestalgic and fun! The gameplay a a little basic and the combats a little bland, but the story, suspense, and nestalgia really make up for the bland game play. Plus, it's really easy achievements, if you're an achievement hunter! Easy 1000!

Not really scary but it’s a cool game

You'll love the game if you're a fan of the movies and like puzzles. One of my favorites growing up but I'm more impressed that the game came exactly how it was in description, in very good condition. Fast shipping, I'm very happy with this purchase. Thanks !

I would rather shove my hand into a blender, crank it up to the highest setting possible and pour lemon juice on whatever is left than play this horrid game again! Dispite having Tobin Bell voice Jigsaw, the game was still horrible! The controls were like whoever thought them up, decided not to bother with controls that made sense but instead just made them assbackwards and convoluted as hell! The graphics even suck for a next gen game! Plus you're in an insane asylum with a buch of other people all out to get you....uh, in the movies, it was just a group of people, not a whole damn mob! The puzzles are awful as well, often being too time consuming to bother with, or when you got to do them, you wanna just wing the controller at something. I would pay NOT to buy this game! You'd be doing yourself a favor if you passed this title up, just stick with the movies...at least those are somewhat entertaining. 24 hours after buying this game, I sold it to GameStop.

SAW: The game is not perfect, but for fans of the films it's an enjoyable game. Taking place between Saw 1 & 2 (I believe) you play the role of Det. Tapp who's become trapped in an old Insane Asylum. Traps and weapons are plentiful and can be enjoyable. Some of the traps do get a bit repetative (Shotgun trip wires) and cause you to travel slower through the game which gave me the impression that it was only trying to prolong the game experience rather than add to it. The story of the game is enjoyable and there are new clips and other documents littered throughout the game which are fun to read and at times a bit humorous. The biggest flaw in the game is the inconsistency of the combat. Weapons don't nessesarily do any more damage than your fists and hitting an enemy almost entirely depends on when you time you button press and how far away from the enemy you are. For example, you have to "anticipate" contact with the enemy and press the attack button before the enemy actually reaches you if they were a distance away. You get used to it, but it's not as much fun to fight in this game as it is in others. The end level large traps and fun to solve and add well to the story of the game. Work is progressing on Saw 2: The Game, so hopefully these issues will be addressed in the new game. So I'd give it 3 stars for non-fans of the films and 4 stars for fans.

It was ok. The fighting was difficult to control

I got this game as a birthday gift (I love horror-survival games) and I was surprised how much I liked it. Anyone who likes the "Silent Hill" series will like the dark, creepy atmosphere and the wide ranges of puzzles offered in this game. It really is a good game for survival-horror fans.
