I think these work great! Placing them outside the garden gate keeps the rattlesnakes from coming in. I know this because I let it go for a couple of months and lo and behold, the biggest rattlesnake sauntered into my backyard. Placement in strategic locations works perfectly.

I don't have any pictures. I put this around my pond. I have a 9 foot pawn with butterfly goldfish and minnows. It's to keep the snakes out of my pond and not eat my fish. So far it is working. I've been using this for about the last four years

I hate to speak too soon but they seem to work. We seem to have high population around perimeter of house and under the driveway, garage floor and screened porch slab. I didn't initially place enough around front of house and one was found there. But I added more there and reinforced placement around the rest of the house and still not seeing any offenders. The smell is just fine - it is not offensive. Just watched youtube vid about plants and stuff that encouraged infestation and my problems could be bark mulch, pampas grass, hostas, day lillies but ground covers such as english ivy are worse. Gravel is suggested instead of bark mulch. I may want to rethink some of my landscaping. Pioneer women out west used to run the pigs in the yard before they let kids out to play. They would kill the snakes and their hide was tough to prevent bites - but I'd bet the neighbors would complain if I did this... I also planted marigolds and I have patches of mint that may deter them. Meanwhile I'll buy these and hope for the best.

These are well made and packaged to protect your skin. I spread them every four feet around my backyard fence to keep the snakes from bothering my dogs. I give them 3 stars because of the packaging. Twice a snake penetrated the back yard fence while the repellant was in good shape. Not sure about peace of mind anymore. Always worry about my dogs since I came home to find a huge rattlesnake in my backyard. I shot the rattlesnake and mounted it on a board. I have some lucky dogs.

No snakes after putting these out. There is a noticeable odor in the area after placing them.

I bought these because I live in southern Arizona and wanted to protect my animals from rattlesnakes the best I can. Yes I have snake fencing. Bought these balls put them all around my front and back yard. We have had more snacks than we have ever had here! I think they attract snakes!! Thank goodness they are only King snakes. I seen one slither right next to the ball!! These worthless, don’t waste you money!!!

I live in Texas and we have snakes! I bought these to see if they would ward off snakes, I can't really tell if they do or not, but have not seen any latly, so I guess they are working,
