It was a hit!
My daughter always wanted one as a kid, she is now 40. When I saw this cat one I knew she "needed' it! She was very pleased when she opened it for Christmas. She LOVES cats! She followed the instructions and it grew very well.

So good for my kitties.
This cat grass is a blessing for our indoor cats in more ways than one. First, it has helped my male cat with digestion as he seems a bit more delicate in his GI tract than my female. Second, my cats can smell a chemical in grass or anything else I offer them, and outdoor grass often has a growing chemical in the seeds to help outdoor grass grow fast. Before I was gifted with a Chia Cat Grass planter three years ago, I tried growing grass in a plastic box for my cats but the beautiful grass was rejected by them. Upon investigation, I found that there was something in the seeds to make them grow well. I highly recommend this cat grass for all cat owners, even outdoor cats because the grass has no chemicals in it.

Did not sprout :(
The seeds did not do anything at all. And I know I didn't plant it wrong because I went to the store bought basically the same thing and planted it exactly how Chia wanted me to plant the seeds and then that one grew within a couple days... and it was an off brand of the same thing that cost not even $4.00....I don't know... Maybe I just got bad seeds but I would assume that at least one seed would have sprout.

Our cat liked it... a little too much
This DEFINITELY did its job of distracting kitty from my other plants. But she went absolutely INSANE for it. Unfortunately the way that the instructions have you plant the seeds and water, after a few days of my cat going at it, she had eaten all of the cat grass andthere were no more seeds and it did not sprout again. So, $14 down the hole for basically a one-time use. I think it's a really cute planter and a fun treat for kitty, but it's not really something you can just leave out all the time, because well, it's catnip and your cat will destroy it, and so it doesn't serve its purpose of protecting the houseplants.

Surprisingly Hardy Living Cat Treat
I am very pleased with both the Snoozy Kitty planter and the very hardy and resilient grass the seeds produce. The depth of the planter is a good fit for the plants - the roots go down so deep, it is nearly impossible for my none-too-gentle munching kitty to pull out and kill. Another planter I had purchased from the on-line grocer I buy my groceries from had a very shallow bowl which made it too easy for the plants to be pulled out by the roots. I will certainly continue to use Chia's Snoozy Kitty planter and will enthusiastically recommend it to all humans owned by cats. P.S.: My kitty loves the grass!

Fun for your feline
I ordered this for my sister’s cat. She was talking like a little kid waiting for it to grow. BTW…she is 75 yrs young!

not the greatest
if you want grass like shown in the pic you would have to order extra packets because what come with it isnt much. it took 3 days for mine to start growing and at the 4th day i have long blades of grass. i put a clip on lamp with a daylight cfl above the pot for light for the grass to grow. my cats love to nibble on it but the package did come with some water damage to the instruction paper and you dont get to grow much grass is why i gave a 3 star rating.

Dead Seeds
I had two of these pots. The cat grass only lasts a couple weeks so one is growing while the other is being nibbled. I broke one of the pots so I bought a new kit. After about 4 days there was zero growth evident so I planted a layer of the cat grass I have been using. That sprouted in two days and is growing well. No sign of growth of the seeds that came with it.
