Q: I am using this thermostat and probe with my electric underfloor heating. Can this thermostats be placed outside the bathroom with the probe inside?

As long as the temperature controller is connected to wifi, it can be used in different network environments

go to play store on mobile phone, type in search... my becasmart let it download then open and follow instruction sheet with thermostat. I find it works well in manual control or you can program, it does have a preset program. the BECA smart icon is green. hope this helps..

Great looking and responsive touch screen

As an electrical engineer I found the installation straight forward and the App worked on WiFi with both of the units I installed one in the kitchen and one in the family bathroom. I can see some reviews gave only one star because of the App not linking via WiFi but if you follow the instructions to the letter it works fine or at least it did for me. Great product at a good price.

Does not connect to wifi

Very disappointed I employed an electrician who was a tech buff he trued for over 1 hour repeatedly this product refused to connect to Wifi so it can only be used manually
