A nice product. No complaints. Does the job as described. Much smarter than my old version. Doesn't bump into walls. Vacuum is very nice. Mop is decent. Don't expect mopping like hand. Very good for daily use.

Do not buy. Xiaomi vacuum robots are well know for design flaws. It will stop working after few months and your problems will start. Yes it's cheap but there is a reason for it: water pumps will stop working, software is weak. Check on the internet. I bought in March, stopped working in June. # Xiaomi X20 Max water system failures plague users **Widespread reports reveal systematic problems with mop cleaning and dirty water pump systems, affecting users globally within months of purchase.** Research across retail reviews, user forums, technical channels, and official documentation shows the Xiaomi X20 Max suffers from recurring water system malfunctions that significantly impact its core mopping functionality. These issues emerge in two distinct patterns: early failures within 2-6 months suggesting manufacturing defects, and wear-related problems after 8-12 months indicating component durability issues. The problems center on **dirty water pump failures that prevent proper water extraction** from the cleaning system, **firmware-related malfunctions that stop water dispensing during cleaning**, and **sensor failures that trigger false water level alerts**. While Xiaomi offers competitive features at an attractive price point, the water system reliability issues create substantial user dissatisfaction after the initial honeymoon period. ## Dirty water pump failures dominate user complaints The most critical and frequently reported issue involves the dirty water pump system completely failing to extract water from the washboard into the dirty water tank. Users consistently describe a pattern where the robot initially performs well, then suddenly begins displaying **"high water level in washboard" warnings even when the dirty water tank is completely empty**. This indicates the pump mechanism responsible for water extraction has mechanically failed.

I used the Xiaomi X20 Max for just one day and I’m already impressed. The suction is strong, it mops and dries floors perfectly, and the navigation is super smart. Setup was quick, and the app is easy to use. The self-cleaning and drying features really stand out. Great first impression—feels like a premium device!
