How many mAh per battery?

mAh is a battery capacity rating based on discharge current. 800 is very low and wrong. For a standard (bunny) D-cell, at half amp current, its rated at 10,000 mAh. Amazon needs to show the product data sheet for these batteries.

why are there 9v reviews for a d battery product? how is that helpful?

Because you have a choice up top to choose between three different battery types. I'm assuming they bought the 9 volt version.

I am wondering the same thing. Amazon lists their AS batteries as having a 10 year shelf life, while these batteries were listed at first a 3 year and now a 5 year shelf life. Is this simply marketing or is there more of a scientific reason behind this?
