Great quality and very convenient to use. The chopped, dried strands save prep time and turn perfectly crispy when baked. Works well for topping. Only minor issue is a few clumps, but easy to fix. Would buy again!

I bought this to try making the viral Dubai chocolate bars and also used it for a crumbl-style brownie, and it worked really well for both. The strands are easy to separate and crisp up nicely when sauteed on butter, which gave that perfect crunchy texture on top of the chocolate. It didn’t burn easily either, actually it took a while to brown. For the brownies, it added a really nice contrast, soft inside with a light crunch on top. Just make sure not to overdo the syrup or butter so it stays crisp.

My granddaughter and I made Dubai Chocolate Brownies with this and it was delicious! The recipe called for 8 ounces but this bag of 7 ounces was perfect. We toasted it first and it came out a beautiful golden brown. The texture is great and stayed crunchy after mixing it wit Pistachio cream for a week.

The texture it adds is fantastic — light, crunchy, and delicate without tasting greasy. Flavor-wise, it’s neutral and clean, which makes it very versatile for both sweet and savory recipes. I used it as a topping and also as a base layer, and it crisped evenly without burning. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the strands were cut shorter than I expected. For certain dishes where I wanted longer strands to wrap or create more dramatic texture, I had to adjust my presentation a bit. It still worked, just not exactly how I originally planned. Overall, it’s a good-quality kataifi that delivers on freshness and crunch. I’d buy it again — just keeping in mind the shorter cut length depending on the recipe.
