Great product at a great price, and installation is not too bad for a DIYer!
Received this a few days ago. I live in an old mobile home, and, the walls are super thin, the insulation is virtually non-existent, gaps around all the windows, etc. We currently have three window a/c units in a less than 1000 sq. ft. trailer. The furnace was stolen before we bought it, and was not easy to replace. We figured out a work-around, and it has sufficed, but, the duct work throughout is damaged or collapsed in many places, and is not easy to access. Our power bill has been extremely high due to these circumstances. So, we started looking into the mini-splits. They were much more expensive just a few years ago. We thought we would start with one in our kitchen/living room area to see how well it worked. My husband just finished installing it yesterday, the only holdup being a part we needed to order that was compatible with the mini-split and the vacuum pump that is needed to evacuate the lines once installed. Installation was fairly straightforward, and my husband was able to do it himself. Once he was finished, we turned it in to test the system, and the difference was immediately noticeable. The unit is so quiet, and it cooled those two large rooms very quickly when the outside temperature was about 85 degrees, and I had all the curtains open, plus grandkids running in and out the door. We are definitely going to purchase another unit for the back of the trailer, and are really looking forward to seeing the savings on our energy bill. So far, extremely happy with this unit.

Awesome!!!!!
Okay so I think most of us start off as skeptical of how affordable these are as to the quality, but I have to say this is the best purchase Iโve made in years! It came a day early and I put it in the same evening. Took around 4 hours to install but Iโm no expert so it may take others less. I made an adapter plate out of plywood to put the head unit further down on my window, and I also put a 20amp 110 plug on the end. Works great with a 20amp dedicated breaker. Youโll need the vacuum out the lines with the pumps you see on here, I used the one that was $130 and it worked great. After you tighten the lines and hook up the hoses, make sure to keep the Allen screws in, vaccine the lines for 15 mins, and then turn the low side pressure knob off. If it rises back up thereโs a leak, if not after 5 mins youโre all good! And you can open up the Allen screws. Again novice here but this was super easy and Iโm very impressed with how well it cools, waiting on the heat as of now, just cause itโs summer.

Will not pass inspection
I purchased 15 of these units to go into 5 small homes I am building. During final building inspection, I failed because the indoor air handler states it needs to be over 8' from the floor. I don't know about you but when you are building small homes, your ceiling may be as high as 8'. I contacted customer support and received a manual from another 12,000 btu unit that allows for 6.5' from floor. The user manual does not have my model number on it! The building inspector will not accept this. These units are around 500, which means I am out 5000.00 and then my hvac person will charge another 1,000 x 10 to install them! I wish I would have gone with any other brand of minisplit at this point, because they do not have this crazy requirement--Senville, Pioneer, Della etc.

Very efficient and easy to install. Buy Nylog!
This unit works really well even on some really hot days in the 100's. The ECO mode works great for maintaining the temperature after the room has been cooled, so far it hasn't been particularly expensive to run, I use it in my bedroom at night so I can't speak for the effectiveness in a large room, but for a bedroom this the cheapest and most efficient way to keep the room comfortable in the summer. I haven't tried out the heater yet, but that'll be in an update in the future. The unit is very quiet, you can barely tell it's on, the mute setting is probably not the most efficient setting but it does keep the room around 3 degrees of the set temperature late at night and it doesn't make the room drafty. The only qualm with this unit is the blower doesn't shut off after the set temperature is reached and it sometimes gets a lot colder than the set temperature, I had it set to 65 and it got down to 51 one night, I don't know why that happened, but on the ECO mode it seems to stay within the set temperature range until I turn it off. The app works great and is very easy to use, there's a setting to purify the air and it seems to work, although there's some debate on the potential dangers of being in an enclosed room while it's set, due to some ozone being produced. There's also some timer settings and a sleep mode that allows for the temperature to be gradually changed throughout the night until it turns off. The unit was very easy to install, the hardest part is making a hole in the wall and bending the lines, everything is very basic. You will need some extra things to install it. I bought a whip to run power to the main unit directly from the breaker box and a pull out disconnect. I used a vacuum pump to vacuum out the lines and check for leaks, I used Nylog on the fittings, I highly recommend it, I had no leaks whatsoever, overall it's very easy to install and can be done in 2-3 hours depending on what your walls are made of and the distance you have to run the lines.

Great product
They item itself works beautifully, install was easy. My only problem was it come damaged and I never received any messages from the seller or Amazon after uploading the pictures of the damage. Payed full price for a scratch and dent item. Other than that it does the job of cooling my 30x30 metal building perfectly.

Wish I could give it 10 stars
This is going to be long so TL;DR this thing keeps my 1150 sq ft house comfortable in the summer. We added a bedroom on to our house and decided to put this in it with the hopes that it would keep that bedroom, an adjoining bathroom, and next door bedroom comfortable. This thing is a BEAST. The way my home is laid out, it is a straight line from this unit to the other one (a different brand) across the house in my living room. I rarely even have to use the other one in the main part of our house because this one keeps the entire house cool. 1150 square feet. I keep it set on 68 and my living room on the other side of the house stays a comfortable 70. Ive attached photos of the clock temp in my living room as well as the current weather reading outside. I want to be clear, this is due in part to the layout of my home. Its very open, the unit is set so it can blow straight through the entire home and we leave all the bedroom and bathroom doors open when they are not occupied. The bedroom where the unit is located probably stays in the low 60s! It is my teenage son's bedroom so he loves it being that cool. You can see in the image the room where this unit is. This room is the addition. The bathroom and next door bedroom were already there, and the main unit (which is twice the size at 24k BTU) on the right side of the house could not keep those two rooms comfortable. I had to run a space heater in both of those rooms over the winter and they were miserable in the summer. I would be sweating my ass off doing laundry or anything else in that bathroom. I bought this unit in March, its now July, we live in the south and it has been a scorching summer. We're at 4 weeks now of upper 80s-90+ temps, heat index upper 90s and low 100s. My home has seriously never been so comfortable. I will come back this winter with an update of how it handles the cold. As for installation, it was very easy, HOWEVER, this is not the first mini split we have installed ourselves. We borrowed a friends vacuum pump and had it fully hooked up in maybe 6 hours, with 2 or so of that just running the vacuum. It went very smoothly. I don't have an Alexa so I cant speak to the wifi/Bluetooth aspect. Its very quiet and the remote makes it super easy to adjust. As for efficiency, I would say its what I would expect? We are a family of 5, so there is a lot of laundry and hot water usage to account for. Ive attached the last weeks electric readings. We have another small unattached room/office that has a window unit that runs maybe 8 hours a day. I really don't know how much of the total electricity is used by that one window unit, maybe $1 a day? So I would say we average about $6 per day without the window unit, and it is always more in the winter. I prepay for our elec and pay $250 each month all year. It averages out to use less than that spring thru fall and more in winter. I took the time to leave this long review because I am so thoroughly impressed with this unit. If my other one ever goes out I will definitely be replacing it with this brand.

Awesome unit, ice cold air in Texas heat, BUT you need to bleed the lines with a vacuum pump!!
I am so very giddy about this unit , for that price. We run a sanctuary and our volunteer cottage had a floor a/c unit , which could not keep up , when the heat in the summer hit Texas. One of our very handy volunteers, who never installed a mini-split , offered to install it. He read through the instructions, watched youtube videos and took his time to do everything properly . As I said, you do need to bleed the lines, or it will blow warm air , since I saw some reviews , with that complaint . I purchased the vacuum pump, when I purchased the mini spilt and it did an awesome job. You can install everything and then plug the pump into the outside unit and voila, freezing cold air . And it is super quiet, both, inside and out. Haven`t connected to Wifi , but the remote works perfectly fine. Love this mini split for this price . We had 3 installed in our mobile home previously, same size and we paid twice as much (install was included) , but if you are handy and follow instructions, it should be possible to do it yourself!!!!!! LOVE this unit

Great ac. Horribly programmed
Everything about the actual ac function is great. It cools and heats great. Quiet. But and there is a huge but. The software is the worst I've seen in my entire life. Everyone I know sets a temp and puts it on auto. Can't do that with this system auto is locked to 77 degree and it will turn AC and heat on. Can't andjust it. Has no auto for cold and heat. When using AC or heat they never turn off. I like to keep room 68-72. It will blow high fan till it reaches those temps. Then turn on low fan. AC never turns off room gets to 62 still blowing cold air. I'm living with remote in my hand to turn off n on because the software is completely unusable unless you want to live in an icebox or a sauna.
